I would have thought Gears would be the only one that really makes sense. I'd like to have all of them tarted up and under one launcher. And it would enable MS to eventually turn off the servers for the old games, like they've just done with Halo.

Gears 1-3 (plus Judgement) are all 4k/60 on Series X as it is (I think Gears 3 is 1440/60)

Yep, plus it would give Playground Games some experience of the Franchise itself.

The Coalition did the same with Gears 1 remastered as did 343 with Halo CE and Halo 2 Anniversary so MS studios have form for doing this.

I’ve played (finally) Fable 1 recently, I mean to get around to relaying 2 and finally playing 3 before the new Fable comes out. Have these rumours got any weight to them? Or are they just that, rumours with a bit of wishful thinking with the new Fable on the horizon? Was going to make a start on Fable 2 once I’d played Halo Infinite.

Remember the FanFest Trivia event in November? Monkey Man and I progressed far enough to each win $35 credit for the Xbox Gear Shop. I thought I'd let you know how that went.

There wasn't much on the store that I wanted, as I don't collect gaming tat and don't wear gaming clothing. The $35 converted, rather harshly, to about £26, so that limited the selection. I opted for a nice pack of 20th anniversary Halo-themed playing cards. £11.95 - well within budget. They added sales tax of £4.78. Still OK. Then international shipping - £11.95. So I begrudgingly had to pay £2 on top. We're looking at nearly $40 for a pack of playing cards. I placed the order.

That was on 17th November.

The cards were delivered today.

So never order from the Xbox Gear Shop.

A Fable trilogy remake would be amazing. I would just hope they have the time to do it properly and do the originals justice. In other words, the opposite of any recent high-profile remaster e.g. any recent Blizzard remaster, XIII, Kingdoms of Amalur etc.

After the announcement of Skywalker Saga's date, I expected the LEGO games to be back on sale at some point. Those are some heavy discounts. Still working through the last few I bought to consider getting more yet.
