RE: Redfall/Starfield delays, with all the studios MS has now, how many of them should be in a position to have new games ready for 2022?

- Compulsion Games really should right? Been a while since We Happy Few came out
- Turn 10, people have been expecting Forza this year
- Ninja Theory might be able to get Hellblade 2 out in time before the end of 2022
- Machine Games possibly could have something ready, Wolfenstein 3?

I reckon Forza is the only one possible to make it this year as they only ever fully reveal them at showcases with the usual release before the years end...but who knows.

The only thing I can see making this awful situation slightly more palatable is putting Ubisoft+ (which is going to be its own sub service) into gamepass. Jeff Grubb said MS have put aside billions to support GP so it's not too far fetched.

Seems Like Gears of War is indeed getting a Master Chief collection type re/release with remastered gears 2+3 and possible all upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.

It would be on Gamepass but I'd like to see 2 and 3 remastered, both amazing games, 2 would benefit more because it's VERY brown compared to the others. Gears 3 is already a stunner so that should look great. Might be shown at showcase and may come out this year.

Maybe it's me and I missed something but since when did the Xbox One S boot straight to the dashboard and skip the green intro screen? Mine did this yesterday after a cold boot. It hadn't previously been on standby.

Has something changed with the way Xbox keeps your saved images and captures?

I always remember all my captures being on the console, but now it would appear that the only ones on the console are the ones which have not not uploaded to the network (which seems to be those that auto capture, such as on Umurangi Generation), and any that have auto uploaded but are less than 30 days old?

To complicate matter further, although all my captures on the network can be viewed form my Xbox, if I go to the mobile app, it only shows captures for about the last 4 months. After that it only shows movie captures back to when I started using the service (about 4 years ago). Is that the way it works? I read the Ts&Cs yesterday, and it says any images which have not been viewed on the network at least once after 30 days of upload will be removed, but I have loads with no views that are several years old.

If they did a handheld console that I could play my current Xbox games collection on without the need of Gamepass I would be all over it. I would prefer download games to streaming though.
