I hope this signals them going back to add BC games regularly again, still want the Xbox version of Silent Hill 2 to be BC. Also stuff like The Simpsons and TMNT arcade games being BC would be a touch.

I'm thinking of getting a Series S for Christmas as a secondary console to use for Gamepass and the like. I haven't had an Xbox console since the original machine and so while I've played the odd game on the 360, I've missed out on the last two generations of Xbox exclusives.

Any recommendations of games that I should try out that I might have missed out on in that period? Obviously I'll be looking to play the Master Chief Collection and Infinite, the Gears of War games and Forza. Any lesser known recommendations would be much appreciated!

Did anyone on here get a pre-order in for the Halo console? Wondering when they'll be dispatching them, since it's out on Monday (unless they've delayed the whole console to coincide with the game's release? )

If you're like me and you find po-faced RPG's like Dragon Age dull as dishwater because you spend half the game choosing pointless dialog options from NPC's then Fable 2 is a must play. The third game is ok and looks quite pretty but it's not as open ended as the 2nd.

'Splosion Man is a top platformer full of original ideas.

It might have been stuck in development hell for a few years but I really quite liked Too Human.

Even if you had a PS3 you might have missed out on some games from that generation. The entire Assassin's Creed series is BC on the Xbox for example. Castlevania Lords of Shadow, the Bioshock trilogy, Ikaruga, SSX, the Dead Space trilogy, Mirror's Edge, Lost Odyssey and Portal 2 amongst others are all still available and pretty cheap.

I'm gonna try my hand at the Gold/GPU conversion thing. CD Keys is the cheapest for Gold (£24 for 12 months), but I'd have to go the VPN route as it's Turkish Gold and that just makes me worry I'll screw it up My 1 month trial ends in early December, so am thinking of getting the Gold now and activating it when GPU runs out.
