39% and 24% of DLC owners respectively have those achievements. Not trying to rain on your parade or anything.... :P

Fair enough :D .
I thought the DLC mission was actually really good as it gives you the choice of non-lethal combat to save the lives of striking workers in a factory and whether or not to release a trapped AI.

Much better this month. Planet Alpha is a very pretty platformer (but it is quite routine to play), and I nearly bought Rock of Ages 3 in the last sale.

If you have a spare hour this is a pretty decent interview...

That lad Destin is incredibly uninformed on anything to do with gaming, which is insane bearing in mind he works for IGN. "The Series consoles still haven't released in China" "actually we launched there last month". I mean, I knew this, how TF does a guy on the Xbox Podcast not know it?

A month before Series and PS5's launch he thought the PS5 was coming out in 2021... he was going on about the headstart Xbox will have until it was pointed out.....like...WHAT?

I recognise most of those Midway games, but have no idea how they play nowadays!

Spy Hunter was a holiday arcade classic for me. Also keen for Defender, Tapper and Gauntlet.

My own personal favourite is Xenophobe but all of those are absolute classics. I've got most of them on my Pi arcade machine and they all hold up pretty well (Joust and Defender are both still fantastic).

Hideo Kojima and Microsoft have signed a letter of intent that states the two parties intend to work out the details on a publishing agreement for a new Xbox game, according to sources familiar with the matter. This is a key step in the negotiations between the Metal Gear Solid creator and the Xbox company. This signifies that both parties have agreed to a generalized deal while lawyers continue hashing out the finer points.

Microsoft and Kojima’s teams have spent months discussing a possible partnership, and now it is more likely than ever that those conversations will bear fruit. The deal is so close that Microsoft has begun preparing for what Kojima will need to make his new game.

Blimey. I can see there being some bitter PS fanatics with a “we made you” attitude.

The 2nd half of July is looking pretty busy.

Streets of Rage 4 DLC - 15th July
Deaths Door (Xbox & PC) - 20th July
Cris Tales (Console & PC on Game Pass) - 20th July
EA Play - 22nd July
Last Stop - 22nd July - London based adventure - https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2021 ... ver-played
Microsoft Flight Simulator (Series X|S on Game Pass, maybe on XB1 via Cloud) - July 27
The Ascent (Cloud, Console, and PC on Game Pass) - July 29

I'm sure there's some I've missed. Psychonauts 2, Hades, 12 minutes, Skate Bird and Recompiler in August as well.

First i am hearing of "The Last Stop". Sounds like my sort of thing. July and August are absolutely packed! MS Flight Sim, Psychonauts 2, 12 Minutes, The Ascent. Deaths Door looks really good too, but i dont know how i can justify purchasing it when so many fantastic looking games are going to be available to me via Game Pass.

Then on.... another platform you have Skyward Sword (which i have never played) and Grand Ace Attorney Chronicles. Im struggling to think of a better 2 months of game releases (for my tastes at least).

I thought Summer was supposed to be a waste land for gaming. I guess that hasn't been true for years though.

The Rage on Twitter whenever this is officially announced will be enjoyable but good god, unless Kojima changes his 'weird movie making' oddness I couldn't be arsed, I mean I suppose it will be on Gamepass?

I also like the look of Death's Door.

And likewise, I'm not going to buy it in case it comes to Gamepass, and because I have too much other stuff to play, because of Gamepass.

(PS, Skyward Sword is quite polarising for some reason, but I think it's excellent.)

Cheers for the Skyward Sword tip off. I know, but this seems like the perfect time to try it. And i find linearity less stressfull, so its not a red flag for me.

No better way to show the tech than having one of the engines leading Dev's I suppose.
