I know, but I'll probably get more value out of it than most GWGs.

I played a bit of Stacked earlier. That seemed like a nice little game.

I will definitely play Little Nightmares. I always mix it up with Hello Neighbour, which I downloaded recently and found to be utter shite.

Just realised that Dead Rising is the tarted-up XB1 version, so at least that’s something.

I'll be getting Little Nightmares and Dead Rising out of that lot.

I bet Dead Rising was great in 2006. I think I tried it about 4 years later and thought it was a bit garbage - some great ideas, particularly the replayability, but on the whole it’s aged pretty poorly.

I was starting to sweat when this had not appeared by 6pm. The amount of points i have picked up since the start of this year is incredible. Not sure how much progress i will make towards that 10K though. I hear Surviving Mars is exploitable. but the mod keeps getting taken down.

If you've played Destiny 2 on the PC or PS4, download it for Xbox. You'll get any trophies unlock as Achievements when you load it up for the first time. So in my case I got the full 1000GS drop.

Try the list on True achievements for easy games.

https://www.trueachievements.com/games.aspx

Under 'More Filter Options, select 'other filter' and select Xbox Game Pass games (or Game Pass for PC if that's an option). Then click the Completion time header to sort by shortest to longest estimated completions.

Don't Starve is a 10 minute 1000G if you have access to a PC, and Subnautica is easily done with codes too. The first too Five Nights at Freddy's games are also exploitable on PC.

There's an hour long trial version of the game Pixark which can be maxed out in that time with codes. And a recent free game Rec Room which is an easy 700G. I'll have a think for some more stuff if anyone needs any more.

Thanks, thats really helpful. Unfortunatly i do not have access to a PC at home, so im guessing i wont be able to do any of these. Ihave done a fair amount of searching around the subject, and it looks like i am just going to have to do it the hard way. Its a good opportunity to dip in to a few games i have been meaning to for a while (as there are usually some easy early achievements).

It will also compell me to keep chipping away at S2 of Tell Tales Batman.

For anyone who hasn't - Fractured Minds is a really easy 1000 GS.

Some quick games -

Xbox Game Pass

If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, this will be your best place to start in the quest to reach 10,000G. There are several quick completions in the Xbox Game Pass library that will give you a cool 1,000Gs each.

Fractured Minds - 0-1 hour
The Gardens Between - 1-2 hours
What Remains of Edith Finch - 2-3 hours
NHL 94 Rewind - 2-3 hours, available with Game Pass Ultimate or EA Access
Day of the Tentacle Remastered - 2-3 hours
Full Throttle Remastered - 2-3 hours
The Walking Dead: Michonne - 3-5 hours
The Touryst - 4-5 hours
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice - 6-8 hours
Tell Me Why - 7-10 hours for 1500G
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier - 8-10 hours

Games with Gold

Easy and quick completions such as Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series, Gone Home: Console Edition, #IDARB, We Were Here, and many, many more have been Games with Gold at one point or another.

I think i have already played all of those! Good list though. And most of them are pretty essential games anyway.

Just watched the Rec Room video. 700gs look really, really easy. 10 minutes tops.

I hate the idea of burning through ten games without taking the time to enjoy them properly, just to get points worth less than £10. It’s all a bit Black Mirror.

I would never do it with a game i had any intention of playing (certainly not to burn through them at least), but if it insires me to get on with games that have been in my backlog for too long, or to spend 10-15 minutes on a game i never would have played then it think its ok.

Your point is valid though - min maxing all this stuff actually becomes the game, the value of the reward is almost of no consequence. I think its just that i will part with reward points much more readily then my real money (which i need for other stuff, like food). Having a nice steady supply of points means i can justify more game purchases by using reward points (at least to subsidise the cost).

What this does not take in to account of course is the most important resource of all - time.
