When you say delisted you mean unable for purchase in the store anymore?

Yup it'll be removed from sale, including and DLC related to the particular title. The only way to purchase it would be any physical copies out there, or websites (like amazon, game, cdkeys) that sell download codes that had stock left.

Oh and yeah, if people could add me that would be great, gamertag is Raxicori, I never play online but it will give me more drivatars to race against in Forza Horizon. Kthanxbai

Is it cos of music copyright stuff?

Drivatars aren't in Forza 4 afaik but you get lots of randoms in 2 & 3 either way. You're on my friends list already Rax (I think).

Oh yeah, I always forget about that copyright stuff, Ill never understand why they dont get the rights in perpetuity, surely the artists wouldnt say no to more royalty money? Ah well, no huge deal, I was never likely to pick it up I suppose.

Its probably music but also car marque licensing, some manufacturers like Ferrari are real divas.

See FM7 is getting the loot box stuff taken out? Also as of now, no cars are in the loot boxes, plus, they never pushed the button on paying real money for them.

I did, and its a good move and the fact that they can be excised like this further proves how unnecessary they are, but we've been through this before.

Music is generally every 5 years and it's not worth Microsoft or whoever paying out for another 5 years licencing or patching the game to be compliant (and pissing off everyone as a result who has the game now with Music/cars etc) if they have another game coming out (in FH2's case they'll be 2 sequels by the end of the year) Also as Trelliz says car licencing is a similar thing but I don't have much knowledge on how car licence agreements work.

Once you buy them they're your games to play beyond the delisting date. They just can't legally put any new copies out in to the world from that date (which is why the only options after then are websites that sell keys (they've already purchased them from Microsoft or whoever) and likewise any new/used physical copies out there)

It would be ridiculously easy to patch a game to remove the music. I think the actual reason is they're trying to push people onto the new games.

Music would be straight forward, especially in the mainline game (Horizon games are based on a music festival though so that would be weird having no music :slol: )

Removing cars, tires etc would be the bigger problem.

And as you say, who is going to be buying Horizon 2 at this point? when the third game is nearly 2 years old and a 4th version is on the way in a few months.

Noticed you on my friends list last night, is it an X or S?

It's an X and a 4K tv to go with it.

So far I have watched a few YouTube world scenery videos in 4K - gorgeous. On the Game Pass trial - imagine being a kid in their school holidays and this, you'd never leave the house! Am downloading Halo 5 but don't really want to play through it because I want to start with Halo: MCC whenever the update drops. And the controller (for me) is just so comfortable. Menu looks great but I think your installed games should have more emphasis as they are in a folder on the home menu. I think I like it!

You can pin your most played games to your home screen for easier access, just press the menu button when over the game tile and select 'pin to home'.

Great :fp: I imagine when I let me sub lapse the tab will remain there. I wish they moved the store to the second tab, it's the only one I actually use and had everything on it.

WTF is going on today with the updates to games and stuff?

When I get home I'll have 4K Halo MCC on the MCC insider program, a new PUBG patch that seems to be pretty good, Battlefield 1 4K patch and Sea of Thieves new DLC lands at 4 today too!

Looks like the new avatars have been pushed out to more. Insiders. I'm on the beta ring and it's just appeared for me in the insider content section. Guess it won't be long now till everyone gets it. Maybe a month or two.

Looks like it's just the avatar editor app so far. The created one doesn't show up on the dash or achievements pages yet..
