The trailer thing for the All-Digital Xbox is nicely sarcastic.

Price to be a consistent $50 less than whatever the official price is for the regular S.

Nice to see Resident Evil 5 HD (with all its DLC) sneak on to Game Pass. Beautiful, sexy Sheva is still my Top RE Girl. A great addition to my XB1X library.

Possibly the worst month ever, IMO.

Not the greatest, by any stretch of the imagination, but I'll take The Golf Club 2019. Both MS and Sony simply have to do better with their whole 'free games' approach. Mediocre, at best.

My daughter have already played a few games of Marooners, it is ok.

Is the Golf game the same as on the Pass? Seems odd to offer it for a month on Pass and then 'free' the next.

No, that was Golf Club 2. This is the latest one.

Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO, will take the stage at 4:30 pm BST on Monday, May 6 for the opening keynote. He'll be followed by other Microsoft executives, who will lay out the future of each of Microsoft's platforms.

So I was going back and forth a while ago about buying an Xbox One X but as we are close to the release of the new systems being announced released and the likelihood good that it will be BC with all XBO games I have decided against it.

What I have done now is re-set up my Xbox One Elite console. I want to play some of the BC stuff they have added plus play Gears 4, Halo 5 and eventually their sequels. My question is, do these run ok on the standard XBO? Am I going to be missing out on a lot by not playing on a XBO X?

They should all run fine they just won't be in 4K. Gears 4/Halo 5 were spot on performance wise on the OG Bone when I'd first played them.

Perfect, I do have a 4K TV but considering how close the new systems it seems silly paying out for the X right now.

Yeah, I’m basically doing the same. As much as I’m tempted by an X, if my original XB1 can last until next year, it makes sense to wait.

Shhhhhh. I'm quite happy having it sitting under my telly again. Although, I hadn't realised just how soon a new one being announced was. Still, Game Pass is something else so it's worth it just for that :)

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is now available on the Beta ring of the Preview Program. As before, any existing Gold and Game Pass subs are added together (to a maximum of three years) so it may be worth adding a few months before you sign up.

I'm now subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate until April 2022. :toot:

How does it initially handle having different renewal dates for Gold and Game Pass?

EDIT: Sorry, I misunderstood your post, or maybe couldn’t believe it was such a good deal!

Just to be clear:
According to Microsoft, Insiders who upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from the normal Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass subscriptions will receive all of their remaining subscription time for each, for up to 36 months. So if you have, say, 12 months of Xbox Live Gold left and 12 months of Xbox Game Pass, you will receive credit for 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. That’s quite an incentive, and it makes testing the new service kind of a no-brainer.

Yes, I think I’m in!
