Purchase An Xbox One With Xbox All Access For No Upfront Cost; Special Upgrade Offer Available For A Limited Time

At Xbox we believe strongly in choice. Choice in what, where and how you play, in addition to where and how you buy. It’s with that that we’re thrilled to reintroduce Xbox All Access to more players around the world starting with the U.S., U.K. and Australia— and now including an all-new upgrade option for the next Xbox console, Project Scarlett.

With Xbox All Access, you get an all-inclusive Xbox experience with everything you need to start playing right out of the box for as little as £17.99 per month for 24 months. The program is a great choice for players who want flexibility in their purchasing options and are looking for the best value in gaming. When joining Xbox All Access, you get:

Xbox One console

Players in the U.S. and U.K. can choose between Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition bundles
Players in Australia can select the Xbox One X Forza Horizon 4 bundle or the Xbox One S Forza Horizon 4 bundle
One Xbox Wireless Controller included with each bundle
24-month membership to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Xbox Pass Ultimate includes all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, including online multiplayer, and access to over 100 great games on console and PC.
Option to upgrade to Project Scarlett once its available in Holiday 2020

While Xbox All Access isn’t eligible to be stacked with any other discounts or limited time promotions, the price you pay per month is dependent upon which console you choose and saves players over $100 dollars compared to purchasing everything separately.

Here’s how it works in four easy steps:

In order to join the program, simply visit a participating retailer.
Select the console you would like to purchase with no upfront cost.^
Qualify with our financing partner (Citizens Bank in the U.S.; Klarna in the U.K.; Telstra in Australia). Once approved, complete your purchase with the retailer.
Once you’ve signed up and brought your console home, it’s time to power up and game on.
Xbox All Access will be available beginning on October 29 in Australia, November 5 in the U.K. and November 18 in the U.S. through select partners and retailers, including:

Australia: In-person and Online at Telstra
U.K.: In-store at GAME or in-person and online at Smyths Toys - https://www.game.co.uk/Xboxallaccess or http://www.smythstoys.com/shop-xaa
U.S.: Online from Amazon.com
Some program details vary by country. Please visit country specific links to learn more.

Players in the U.S. and U.K. who purchase an Xbox One console with Xbox All Access have the option to upgrade to Project Scarlett once it’s available Holiday 2020 and they’ve made 18 payments. Players in Australia can buyout their hardware at any time and upgrade to Project Scarlett once it’s available.

We realize buying a console is an investment and some players are waiting to make the jump to the next generation with Project Scarlett when it launches in Holiday 2020 alongside “Halo Infinite”. This is why as a limited time offer this holiday season, players in the U.S. and U.K. who purchase an Xbox One X with Xbox All Access through December 31, 2019, have the option to upgrade to the next Xbox console in as few as 12 months and once Project Scarlett has officially launched.

In order to participate in the upgrade program when Project Scarlett launches in Holiday 2020, players in the U.S. and U.K. will need to be in good standing with the respective financing partner in their market, purchase Project Scarlett with a new Xbox All Access purchase from the same retail partner where they joined the program, and trade-in the console originally purchased with Xbox All Access. Terms and conditions apply, including an upgrade fee for players upgrading from the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition to Project Scarlett.

As always, we’re grateful to our fans for their support and look forward to bringing Xbox All Access to more players around the world in the coming months.

Yeah, I’m not doing that. I might be tempted by a deal when Scarlett itself is released, but not this.

And one potential flaw in the upgrade scheme: You have to “purchase Project Scarlett with a new Xbox All Access purchase from the same retail partner where they joined the program”. Optimistic if you bought it from GAME.

That's not bad at all for a monthly plan. I know everyone it's against more subscription services but a monthly price for a console plus Game Pass is perfect for me.

I don't think it's aimed at us savvy gamers. I can imagine it being successful with people that are a bit curious, like you can jump in with a brand new Xbox and Game Pass (effectively removing the need for additional purchases) for just £18 a month. Especially those people who are already dropping £60pm on their phones.

I personally don't see the attraction.

They are so much better than any other official pad but yeah my left stick drifts all over the place. I'm going CEX will honour their 24 months warranty.

I might be tempted when Scarlett comes out. Until then I'm happy with my little Xbox One S.

Many years ago on the 360, I happily played the CSI/NCIS games - and they were, quite frankly, crap. So with that in mind, I wouldn't mind seeing what Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is like. I do love a good average strawberry floating piss poor detective game.

Isn't Final Station meant to be rather good?

I remember Starfighter being alright. It really reminds me of Blockbuster, I'm sure my old one had mountains of copies.

I just completed one of the “rewards weekly sets” by searching on Bing via mobile 50 times. I then received a message giving me a free download of Blair Witch Project.

If you like that movie, then it’s easy to do!

Yes, but it was already given away in large numbers to people who watched a conference on Mixer.

The Sherlock Holmes Game is mostly good. It was on Game Pass last year, so it feels like we’re not getting much new this month.

I think people will be disappointed as the games have been on the Pass already.

I liked the Sherlock games and this one is solid enough in a 2 star kind of way. Final Station was fun, although I never got close to saving all the people that I could.

I already own Joyride as I play it with my daughter some times. I assume it was free some previous month? I get the impression that Pass is the way to go to get any games of note now.

Yeah, I can see Game Pass being such good value that pretty much everyone will end up on Ultimate, and then they will phase out Games With Gold.

Xbox is “shifting focus” from studio acquisitions to a new phase of “execution and delivery,” its studios boss told media at X019 on Thursday.
In the past 18 months Xbox has aggressively expanded its portfolio of first-party studios via acquisitions and studio launches, ahead of the release of its next-gen console Project Scarlett in 2020.

https://www.videogameschronicle.com/new ... uisitions/
Xbox currently has “more [unannounced] games than we know what to do with” and 2020 will be “one of the most exciting line-ups we’ve had,” according to the company’s studios boss.

Speaking to media at X019 on Thursday, first-party studios head Matt Booty claimed the announcements made in London were “the tip of the iceberg” in terms of future game reveals Microsoft has planned.

Xbox will make more game announcements before the end of 2019, Booty said.

“Really in some ways this is the tip of the iceberg for us,” the exec said at a X019 media briefing, attended by VGC.

“We’re going to show you some amazing things [at X019], but before the end of the year we will show you even more games and then as we go into 2020, I think you will see one of the most exciting line-ups that we’ve had from Xbox Game Studios in as long as I can remember.”

He continued: “We’re going to round up the end of the year showing you even more games and then as we head into 2020 and into spring, I really want you to be on the lookout for the games that we’re going to be announcing heading into that stretch.

“It’s really exciting. For the first time ever we’ve in a way got more games than we know what to do with in terms of when they’re going to be announced. We’re feeling really good about that.”

Eight of Xbox’s 15 first-party studios showed new content at X019.

This all seems like good news.
I'm not sure I'll use the service but it's nice to know it's part of Game Pass Ultimate anyway.

My Xbox One (White version released alongside Sunset Overdrive) is dead. :(

I checked to see if it was ok after the trip switch went (caused by my cat pissing in one of the sockets on an extension lead) and although it turns on, it goes to a troubleshooting screen. Selecting 'Continue' goes to a black screen as does both 'Reset Xbox' options.

RIP Xbox One. :(

What buttons do I press to share my gameplay to YouTube?

Also Twitch, Mixer as I assume it’s the same.
