In fairness, i dont see the big problem with the Xbox UI. I actually find it snappier than the PS4 one. I just wish the suspend software function worked reliably. Its 100% reliable for me on PS4, but only works about 50% of the time on my 1X. Is it something to do with me only playing Game Pass games, and so there is a licence check that it cant do whilst a game is suspended?

Big fan of how you can remove the Mixer tab completely now. Got Mixer and Community gone straight off (Community seemed like it was all just random streamers and posts from official game accounts, right? If it was just a list of updates from friends I'd keep it around)

Have you always been able to add Groups other than the default PINS to the dashboard? I've only just realised, but that's a good feature too, whenever they introduced it.

Sonic Generations... So people can play a good boost game for free now. With a load of new fans sure to be brought on by the movie's success, at least they get to experience one of the last greats of Sonic video game history.

You can get rid of those. When in the Community section click on Filter and untick Games & Popular Now then Apply. All gone.

Groups has been around for almost 2 years now. I have 3 groups, Playing/Started/Play Next.

How do you do that? About 40% of stuff on the OS is just ads and trash.
All they’ve done is move the tabs from horizontal to vertical, absolute genius :roll:

Bit faster though.

Press the "select" button when you're on the mixer tab then press x to remove.

Hmmm, i did not boot up my 1X last night, but from the what im hearing it sounds like i have had this update for the past 6 weeks or so? My tabs moved from horizontal to vertical about then anyway. I'm not in any insider program etc. Could this change have been rolled out to plebs like me as well prior to yesterday?

Having recently played through Lost World and looking back at SG. I think SG isn't great. Classic Sonic plays wrong and LW is better overall, bar the zeti.

No denying that classic plays wrong (but not as awful as in Forces), but from a boost Sonic perspective everything was better. Maybe I should get back to Lost World to really have a play with it. I think I have too many memories of the 3DS version that I can't recall much with the console version.

I don’t use my XBone anymore so I’m thinking of giving it to my mum and dad to use as a streaming box. They will want to use apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, NOW TV and Disney Plus.

Before I go ahead and look at setting this up I just had a few questions

1. Is this a viable option for a streaming system? I was originally going to buy an Apple TV but this would suffice?
2. What is the best media remote to buy them to use it as a media device?
3. Can you set up the dashboard so all these apps appear on the front page as soon as they turn the system on?

Cheers Moggy! I'll have a look at media remotes and see what I find (guessing going for an official one is the best option)

I use my One to watch all the Apps inc these and the BBC etc. My wife and kids can use it to so it is pretty straight forward.
