I get the distinct feeling they’re winding down GWG, ready to merge it with Game Pass.

Haha, someone compared it to this time last year:

Microsoft not exactly having a good July, are they...

Incredibly Override was the last ever game to be featured on the cover of GamesMaster.

From what I recall Red Faction 2 was actually rather good, though I don’t know how it’d hold up today. Lots of destructibility to the environments (or was it the first one?), which at the time was a bit of a novelty in an FPS.

Could be the last ever GWG. Out with a bang. TBF Portal Knights is meant to be decent and I never got round to playing it on Game Pass.

They are absolutely, 100% doing this. Probably before 2020 is out, too. Shame.

I enjoy OG Xbox titles in 4K so not too bad really.

Not sure it’s a shame though, if the Gold Sub model dies that’s a good thing.

I played through it last year. It hasn’t aged well, but you can see why it was acclaimed for its time.

It would be a solid one to play a couple of months before 2 launches i guess, if nothing else.

I've seen Meat Circus mentioned before, whats the issue with it?

I think that the model of being given four games per month, for “free,” to keep, as a subscriber would be a sad thing to lose. Game pass is great, but it is a little maddening when something drops off before you have the chance to finish it, as Wolfenstein did for me.

Only the Original Xbox/360games in gamepass are for 'keeps', you lose access to the X1 games if you're Gold sub lapses.

It's a level near the end of the game which was insanely hard. It's a timed escort mission with tight platforming sections. The game doesn't really have tight enough controls for it to feel all that fair. Plus the difficulty curve was ridiculous in comparison to the rest of the game.

Every time Psychonauts is brought up, I think about it and I get flashbacks. I think it's the angriest a video game has ever made me. I literally threw the disc out my bedroom window, I was that annoyed.

The PC version has apparently made it easier.

True, but that's not what Cora meant. It's fine to lose access if you stop paying, it's annoying if they remove something from the service when you're only halfway through.
