So just moving them all to the Series X will improve a fair few of them even without additional tinkering to boost visuals and performance.

Apparently so, and this is just a bog standard SSD without that velocity architecture gubbins in the Series X.

I'm slightly confused about the Series X, haven't really kept up with it but I could've sworn they show cased the console like few months back. However, people saying on the web Xbox hasn't actually revealed the series X.

Which one is which one?

The Series S is a less powerful Next Gen Xbox, has same SSD and CPU as Series X but it's GPU and RAM are far less so it 'should' be much cheaper. It's apparently going to run all next gen games at 1080p rather than 4K on Series X.

I think it's aimed at people who don't own a 4k TV and aren't planning on upgrading.

A question for anyone who uses game share on Xbox, my brother and I have been using this feature for years but tonight he’s bought Tony Hawk Pro Skater and i can’t install it. If I search through the store, the game is flagged as ‘owned’ on the storefront but when I click into it, it comes up at £39.99. Any ideas?

Ignore me, it just popped up on my ready to install queue. Haven’t felt this impatient to play a game for ages :toot:

Trying to navigate the Xbox Store (or is it now the Microsoft Store? I DUNNO!) on their website is atrocious and thoroughly frustrating. I have some money in my account that expires tomorrow (cheers, Microsoft) and therefore want to purchase something. Do you think I can filter the games to show me the cheapest prices? Can I hell. The sort and filter options are rubbish: https://www.xbox.com/en-gb/games/xbox-one?cat=onsale

Image

But then I go to a different part of the same site, in this case a promotional sale, and the sort options suddenly increase by double:

Who designs this gooseberry fool, seriously. I wasn't in a bad mood this morning, but now I very much am. Mind-fuckery of a website.

FAKE EDIT: I'm now on the 4TH VERSION of the Microsoft Fun House, and on this one the Sort options have vanished entirely. Gone. Can't filter strawberry float all. Who for the love of god designed this.

It's trending on Twitter right now that Microsoft are looking to re-acquire Bungie but Bungie's asking price is a bit steep.

Bungie's CEO is saying it's not true:

It’s false that the deal has fallen through.

Maybe. I have no inside knowledge. But that guy saying it’s false could just mean “this specific claim is false”, like being able to deny that you killed a man and ate his eyes, because you only ate one eye.

And after last week’s leaks, MS would want to have a big announcement. (About Bungie, not killing/eye consumption.)
