A Horizon based on the UK would be fun. Australia in 3 was a blast, so I'm sure there'll be numerous places to explore.

I know this is the One chat but dug out an old 360E for the step daughter and figured I'd download games I'd gotten through Gold and my god they download at a snail's pace. It's taken over 3 hours to download 76% of Gears of War :dread: and its sitting no more than 1 foot away from my Superhub box while they download before she gets it.

Just read about forza horizon 4 in the uk, can’t wait to queue on the M1 :toot: , I wonder if it will be partly based on the Lake District or Scottish highlands with a fictional nearby city.

I'm assuming London would be overly complex for an open world game?

They could do microtransactions for the congestion charge if they set it in London, though

There's nothing confirmed yet, there have been rumours and youtubers making clickbaity videos about it being set in Japan, so I'd wait until E3 for anything concrete.

I gotta go try and fix my nephew's Xbox One S later this afternoon. He says that he switches it on but can't login; the system just locks up. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the hard drive.

I hope I can sort it out and it's not a case of "RIP in pieces Xbox; Wiv da 360 now" etc.

You can force a factory setting during boot up, Can't remember what you do though. That seems to fix pretty much everything.

You can create a USB drive that will reset it.

Thanks, guys - I'm hoping that a full reset won't be needed but, from chatting with my nephew, it may end up being required. I'm on a mission to save Xbox!

To be honest, once you know youre email address/gamertag and password, it takes about 20mins to be back up and running, and 95% of that is the Xbox rebooting to factory settings.

I had to exit the insider programme because it was causing me major sounds issues and had to reboot to factory settings to make sure and I was very surprised how fast it was.

Also the issue is hardware or software related, a factory reset straight up answers the question as if it is software it is all good, if not then you know its hardware.

I have saved Xbox.

Unplugged machine from mains; booted it up; downloaded and installed a system software update; powered-off and on again; all worked okay. Thanks, Errkal and Photek :toot: .
