"A Record-Setting Road to E3", get your stats here -

The passionate community of gamers on Xbox are our inspiration. As we get ready to share a fantastic lineup of new games for Xbox players at E3 2018, we want to take a moment to thank them for a record-setting start to the year.

Today, we’re witnessing a record-setting number of players, playing at record levels, and engaging in new ways. Xbox Live players are up 13 percent and Xbox One sales are up 15 percent over the same period last year, but that’s not all. We’ve seen more than 600,000 friendships forged with the Looking For Group feature and there are now more than 1.2 million Clubs on Xbox Live.

We also reached a couple milestones recently with players having enjoyed over 4 billion hours on games released through our ID@Xbox program and nearly 1 billion hours on games in our Xbox One Backward Compatibility library.

Xbox Game Pass has been a great contributor to growth in players and engagement.

Late last year, Mixer exceeded more than 10 million active users in a month for the first time – a milestone we’ve since eclipsed, and then some, each month to start 2018.

I do hate “sales up x percent” press release speak because it’s meaningless without sales data to compare it to.

Enjoying the sunlight Errkal? It must have been pretty dark living under that rock for the last year. :-)

Sorry man, that was perhaps a little harsh. But yeah, E3 last year. It's an official Microsoft commissioned project.

Ahh I don't watch anything from E3 and things so wouldn't have noticed. Just saw it on Amazon as something that can be pre-ordered.

Yeah, I always found the Duke to be a bit bulky and uncomfortable personally. The Xbox start-up sequence lcd screen is a nice touch albeit I suspect that is what is driving up the cost to the seventy quid price point.

You must have hands that look like giant slabs of meat.

Which also explains your typing.

Just Cause and XCom are free? One of those free to play days things?

Looks like Microsoft might be removing the 360 gamerpics soon, when signed in depending on the page I'd either have my gamerpic or a freaky big smiling bear thing :dread:

The original Xbox controller was perfect for Halo, racing games and Splinter Cell.

It was absolutely horrible for sports, platformers and fighting games. The face buttons were very hard from what I remember and after a while playing caused discomfort.

I bet the re-release will do very well though and will be sold out in a few days (particularly with original Xbox games getting the X makeover).

Use the app on your phone and you can have whatever pic you like as long as it's not a dong or other porno stuff.

Soooooo, the controller that comes with the Xbox One X still requires a play and charge kit right? If you didn't want to go down the replacing batteries route I mean..
