[Update: We've acquired a weird piece of art for the game that Behemoth is calling "Game 4."]

The Behemoth is apparently working on an undisclosed project for the Xbox One, Destructoid has learned while attending PAX East. No details were given, but it will be playable this year, and there will be more info doled out at major cons like SDCC and Pax Prime.

Expect more information as we get it, but since this is Behemoth we're talking about -- it may be a long time before we get to play the final build.

http://www.destructoid.com/the-behemoth ... 3159.phtml

They previously did Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater.

Super TIME Force is out now for Xbox One & Xbox 360, £11.99. Feel free to make a separate thread for this if you like.

Image

Super TIME Force is a single player time travelling side scrolling run and gun shooter influenced by Contra, Gunstar Heroes, Metal Slug and elements of games like Braid, Super Meat Boy and Track Mania. "Singleplayer Co-op" is the term used to describe the gameplay of Super TIME Force. Either through brute force or strategy, you use ghosts of your past lives to play with yourself. With only a limited amount of time and lives to complete a level, you fast forward and rewind through time to create new lives/characters to help yourself progress.
The game is heavily influence by Eighties and Nineties pop culture.

Eurogamer 8

Video games were not the first time machines, then, but they're definitely the most capable, and it's that very capability that's so dazzling here. All art transports you, but only video games allow you to pause, rewind, ponder - and poke your finger into the mechanism. Only video games let you glimpse the past or the future and then get involved.

Destructoid 9

Superb: A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title.

http://www.destructoid.com/review-super ... 4740.phtml

Polygon 8.5

Super Time Force is probably the dumbest smart shooter I've ever played. The face it wears is the goofy nostalgist that can't be serious for even a moment, sure. But Capy's implentation of time travel and control is inspired enough to shine new light on even its most tired-but-excellently-executed inspirations.

Xbox One's stylised sports sim Powerstar Golf has become a free-to-play title.

Eagle-eyed users spotted the transformation today when the game became free to download from the Xbox Games Store. But this version of the game is little more than a demo - you must now separately buy packs of courses to properly play on.

The original game's content has been split into four packs, each of which cost £4.79/$5.99: City Park, Emperor's Garden, Burning Sands and Rocky Ridge.

Powerstar Golf previously cost £15.99/$19.99 to download, which means that unlocking all the packs separately will now cost more - a total of £19.16/$23.96.

But an option does still exist to buy all the packs at the game's original price.

A fifth pack, Coyote Canyon, was also released for free today.

Swery65′s D4 Coming to Xbox One This Friday

This just in from Tokyo Game Show: Swery65′s D4 launches on September 19 as a $14.99 digital download for Xbox One (that’s this Friday).

D4 stars the young, eccentric, and hip David Young, whose wife was killed two years prior, and whose killer hasn’t yet been brought to justice. D4 stands for “Dark Dreams Don’t Die” and also serves as a reference to the fourth dimension – and as you can see in this launch trailer, it’s far from a “normal” adventure game.

Note: D4 can be played using either a controller or Kinect.

Interview with Sweray65 - http://news.xbox.com/2014/09/games-d4-d ... die-launch

Feel free to make a new thread if you wish for this highly anticipated game.

Ori and the Blind Forest looks so good. Shame I won't get to play it any time soon.

It has a very Rayman Origins vibe about it, I expect it will hopefully be at a similar level of quality.

Nutjitsu was released yesterday. (It's been out in the US since May, so maybe we'll get to see 1001 Spikes at some point too.)

It seems to be a fairly basic puzzler, but it's made by Ninjabee, and I like pretty much all of their stuff. Only £5.19, and a relatively tiny 261MB. The other notable thing is that apparently it can be played like an app, while another game is running, so you could play this while you're waiting for a lengthy MP matchmaking to do its thing, or while sitting in Destiny's never-ending orbit.
