Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology, bringing next-gen goat simulation to YOU. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you're a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. Destroy things with style, such as doing a backflip while headbutting a bucket through a window, and you'll earn even more points! When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game. Disclaimer Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat. Key Features • You can be a goat • Get points for wrecking stuff - brag to your friends that you're the alpha goat • MILLIONS OF BUGS! We're only eliminating the crash-bugs, everything else is hilarious and we're keeping it • In-game physics that bug out all the time • Seriously look at that goat's neck • You can be a goat

Both out now -

Lifeless Planet is a third-person action-adventure that features an old-school sci-fi story and spectacular environments in the spirit of classic action-adventures. After a hard landing on the planet, the astronaut discovers the planet that was reported to be rich with life is instead a barren wasteland. When he goes searching for his crew, he makes a more startling discovery: evidence that humans have already been to this planet years ago! When he comes upon a deserted Soviet-era Russian town, he struggles to make sense of his mission. Explore 20 unique and atmospheric environments on a vast and treacherous planet.

Xbox Live Gold members save 20% when they purchase Lifeless Planet (for a limited time only).

Schrödinger’s Cat is a fun, frantic, wacky and colourful puzzle-laden platform game, set in a unique and quirky quantum physics world. There’s chaos at the Particle Zoo! What used to be a cheery theme-park environment is now overrun with hungry leptons, sticky-fingered gluons and massive, stubborn bosons. The Zoo is put on lockdown, and the emergency services are called in to sort everything out. Those emergency services? Schrödinger’s Cat, of course!

Nero gets 9/10 from Destructoid, think it's out in a couple of days -

Entrancing - It's like magic, guys. Time disappears when this game and I are together, and I never want it to end. I'm not sure if this is a love that will last forever, but if it is, you'll get no complaints from me.

http://www.destructoid.com/review-nero-292028.phtml

NERO is a magical adventure where you play as a kid, followed by a mysterious black clothed companion, uncovering the mysteries behind the strange world they inhabit. With simple gameplay and accessible controls in a rich interactive environment filled with puzzles, NERO invites players to explore and experience emotions and feelings that are uncommon in videogames, redefining the visual novel genre and reshaping it in a next-generation first-person game.

Let us know what you think when you have had a chance to play with it for a bit. Was tempted but the reviews have put me off a bit. Cheers Photek.

The reviews have been polarising at best, some sites slate the game while others give it 7's and 8's. I played an hour and a half lastnight and I only went off after some mates invited me to play FIFA. I'd put it at an 8 right now, without giving away spoilers, the story isn't as mysterious as you may think, within the first 30mins you are more or less told how buildings are in the planet you just landed on, albeit crash landed.

I love the Audio, it has incidental music that comes and goes and in between when out in the open you'll hear just the wind and some rocks maybe falling about, its much like ICO in the audio deparment. The gameplay so far is basic, you get a wee jet pack that gets upgraded for longer jumps but apart from that its just walking about.

It has audio files and logs, oddly, the ones you make yourself are interesting enough but the voice of your character will only read out loud the first line and you have to read the rest, the ones you find out on the planet are entirely in Russian but you read them in english but they say the entire thing in russian, again this is explained early on.

There's still a lot to discover but all clues are leading to a certain conclusion but ive still most of the game to go. It's very linear but thats not a bad thing in my book. If you want to walk about a beautiful world and constructions then this is a great game, the whole investigating of what happened on the planet keeps me going, I want to see more of whay this world has to show me. Special mention to the dark places where you use your torch, the lighting is exceptional casting shadows of everthing.
