Not really.

Fairly sure Canada has PS4s too. Not just the US. Sale report said they sold 1 million in NA but I'm not sure if that includes Mexico.

I'm guessing it doesn't because they haven't launched in Mexico yet. :P

Love the way people view themselves on this forum. If you really think the figures are meaningless, say nothing. Otherwise just trying to defend MS. If you really think the are meaningless and you have no invested interest in either console, why try to state they are meaningless?

Good sales though. What did the 360 sell in the first 24 hours?

Yes?

Love the way people judge others on this forum. Who said they were meaningless? I didn't, nor can I see anyone else has said it? If you don't understand someones point, or probably more accurately want to malign someones point, perhaps it should be you who says nothing.

If there's no interest in the thread then it'll drop off into page 35. Thankfully the forum voted against a compulsory clicking on threads you have no interest in a few years back.

The fact that I didn't quote anyone but you felt the need to reply says plenty. :)

It says equally as much that you didn't quote anyone when making your point, but very clearly were replying to comments made here. Very passive aggressive.

Of course I was replying to comments, but not one specific. Do you think I would just come in and write some random comment?

Xbox One is now sold out at most retailers. We are working to replenish stock as fast as possible to meet the unprecedented demand from our customers.

Come on people. I know it's natural to have favourites but lets not spin truth. "Most retailers" means not all. If Microsoft had sold more on day 1 then Sony did of PS4 they would be saying it.

I saw on Twitter screenshots of inventories of retail stores in LA and NY detailing stock is still available The reality is that the on day 1 the PS4 sold more in North America then the Xbox One did in it's multiple launch territories. So what does it all mean? This doesn't mean that the Xbox One is a bad console, it means in NA gamers went for the next-gen console that was on sale first and was cheapest. It means in Europe people who are desperate for a next-gen console and who don't have a brand preference will wait one week for the cheaper console. It also means pre-order buyers are normally hardcore gamers who will be aware of the whole DRM 24-hour check in business and the resolution debate and this will also affect the buying choice they make.

You shouldn't make any longterm predictions about who will 'win' the console war this generation but it is indicative (and Friday's PS4 worldwide sales will also shed some light) that Sony benefitted from releasing their console at a cheaper price and without a one year delay behind the competition.

Yes let's move away from the actual point, and talk about how forums work and the way in which people are expressing themselves rather than what they're saying. :fp: Straight from the handbook.

Now you are just talking nonsense to get the last word. If you want to discuss further, let's take it to PM.

Good sales though. What did the 360 sell in the first 24 hours?

I'd be more interested to know what the 32X sold, to be honest.

The Wii U had a 12-month head start but I bet it will be in third place in a matter of weeks.

I've heard talk of Xbones being left on shelves. Certainly, it appears to be fair easier to get one in the run up to Christmas vs the PS4.

(Placing bets on Sony announcing another million sold in Europe alone in 24 hours some point during Saturday)

Pretty sure there was stock around in town today, too.

:) That's quite touching. I'm half tempted to just buy a WiiU and a copy of ZombieU and keep them sealed and boxed-up in the attic for ten years. It's going to be one of those 'rare and hard-to-find' collector consoles in a few years time.

Cambridge had loads in both Games, Tesco, Asda and HMV.

I picked one up for my brother in law with Forza, Ryse and DR3.

I don't think you'll get any takers on that, the Wii U's fate has been set for some time.

As for XBO stock, checked my local Argos today and they had none so I'm sure there isn't stock everywhere.
