A booklet called "Gamer" was sent to me by Argos.

The Series X is much better value than the Series S.

Looks like it’s out of stock again at Game, Series S only.

I hope that's just a misprint on the booklet, otherwise people are pretty much stealing the Series X from them.

On the Curry’s site here and I can’t see hide nor hair of them. Not even a listing.

Nice! I did some messing around with emulation on the One X and that was pretty good. Hopefully the more powerful hardware opens up better emulation of platforms like PS2 or PS3 seeing as Sony has no interest in it on the PS5.

Are they continuing looking at adding more BC games on the future? So many old arcade classics like Konami Turtles, Simpson’s and X-Men are stuck on 360, be great if MS could sort issues out and get them working on Series X

I only realised about a week before Series X came out how much stuff was not BC from the 360 era. I think I did a count of my physical games and it was about a third not compatible. I'd love for them to go back and work on more stuff from the OG Xbox and the 360.

Watched that, when he says you can't have both on there, dies that mean you can't have you normal installed games on there at the same time, as switching modes and having to redownload everything is a bit gooseberry fool. Of you simply can't access them then ace.

You boot the console in a development environment and that locks out running signed code, and vice versa. But it all remains on the storage devices despite being unusable.

At least that's how it works on Xbox One and this is the same OS so I guess it's the same kind of thing. It did take a while to boot a dev environment though, I think it was taking me about 15 minutes which put me off it.

No problem. It’s also worth noting because I know you like streaming retro stuff... as far as I know you won’t have any streaming functionality from an Xbox when in a dev environment, so you’d still need to capture and stream your content via another device like a PC
