I’ve read a few people say this will make it easier for “bots” to purchase as they’ll be able to set the timer or whatever. I presume all of these sites will be limiting it to 1 per customer.

Hopefully more organised than Sony, though I bet they’ll still all be sold out in 20 minutes.

It's still going to be chaos but it'll be contained to a 1 hour period instead of a 24hr period.

I think I'd prefer to know the time in advance rather than spending half the day refreshing. Made sure I know my Game password and that my payment method was up to date. That will be my first attempt, with Amazon as 2nd choice.

Probably. I'm going into smyths toys shop itself to pre-order.

Can you preorder on the Smyths website and choose collect from store do we know? Just created my account and made sure to keep it signed in on my browser.

That's going to be my option, planning on getting up at 6am (my boy will be up then anyway so may as well get up rather than snooze in bed like normal) just incase there's people putting pages live early also means i don't miss it trying to travel into work.

Aye I meant for Tuesday getting on the PC at 6am to make sure I get a preorder sorted.

For launch day I'll be taking the day off work for sure. If Smyths do a midnight launch for the console I'll definitley head down and pick it up in person so i've got it all day to play. If not I'll head down for shop opening time to pick it up.

It'll be interesting to see when the Xbox All Access for Series X goes live, reckon it'll be same time as preorders or whether it'll be staggered? Seems odd to have it as an option same time as preorders for the main console as how do they split allocations between the two?

I’ll be hoping my placeholder order with ShopTo will be good as I’ll be well into my shift by 8 am, might have a quick look on the official site when I get home but wouldn’t expect anything left by that point.
