Another £10 added to my MS Store wallet thanks to Rewards :toot: Now to find something to spend it on. Are those controller charger packs ever in stock?

You get on top and sort of wriggle about a bit.

add up to 36 months of live gold via your chosen method. I bought 3x12 month codes from cdkeys. Once they're active against your account, from the Xbox dashboard, look for the try ultimate for £1 advert. Take up the offer, and at a certain point it will say it'll back date it to any gold time you have left, up to 36 months. It says £1, then £11.99 a month, but this is only once your current time expires. Once done, it'll say when your next billing period is, mine being this time in 2024.

Ah, cheers for this.

I'm tempted getting Xbox Series S this week. :shifty:

Does the trick above only work if you haven't been a GamePass Ultimate subscriber in the past? I only ask as you mentioned you need to be able to see a 'Try Ultimate for £1' link.

I'm very impressed by the Xbox Series X hardware having picked one up last week. It's almost silent, and even under full load the heat emissions aren't over the top. My Xbox One X was mostly silent aside from the HDD, but it could get pretty toasty.

I believe that's the case yes.

My Series X has turned itself off once, which was quite the surprise, but I believe it’s programmed to do if it gets too hot. I mean, it was on for about 16-odd hours I guess, but still :shifty:

For me it worked a second time. I had ultimate for a while, after it expired for a couple of months the 1 euro offer started to appear again on the dashboard. I tried it this week and it still converted all my months of gold in ultimate.

Yup you can add a 12 month Game Pass Ultimate sub on top of an active gold membership and it’ll upgrade your gold to game pass ultimate

People just say £1 because that’s the cheapest you can get GPU if you haven’t had it before. Otherwise get a month ultimate from somewhere for about £9-£12 and that will do the same as the £1 offer for new people.

Just make sure your previous Game Pass Ultimate subscription is expired before you add any gold membership subscriptions. Then upgrade from there.
