I have missed stock again and again for this. Its really pissing me off. I'll feel strawberry floating awful giving my other kids their stuff (PS5 and Laptops) and not being able to give my autistic child the xbox. It'll break him and I know it seems sad or whatever, but its not his fault he's the way he is. My other children wouldn't care and would wait. The issue is if I can't get this stupid strawberry floating xbox none of the kids will have their gifts, so a gooseberry fool Christmas will be shitter.

Are you a BT customer? If so they have an option to register your interest for when they’re available (they were doing the same with the PS5 today as well I believe), might be worth a shot if you are?

Edit, the same with EE (registering your interest) as well where £45 gets added to your bill for 11 months for a Series X plus another controller. No idea if you’ve tried any of these already, sorry if I’m just repeating what you’ve been told already.

Right... this Play Anywhere thing. If I buy Football Manager 2021 for Xbox... am I also getting the PC version too? The wording is not super clear. It mentions a lot how you can pick up your save on Xbox or PC, but doesn't actually say you're getting both versions for the one price.

Yes, if it’s labelled as Play Anywhere, you get both versions.

When you buy an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game through the Xbox Store or the Microsoft Store, it’s yours to play on Xbox and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost. To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library”.

I'm not with either unfortunately, I'm tempted to ask about and see if someone in my family or other half are with either and will do it.

Definitely worth trying at least, obviously it doesn't say when stock will available but I know someone who did the same for a PS5 via EE and got one ordered today (but again, no idea when they’re actually getting it).

Had my second hard crash today. Playing Mirrors Edge Catalyst. First crash was Gears Tactics. Generally it’s been good, but could do with a stability update sooner rather than later.

Anyone interested in the emulation capabilities should check out my post in the Emulators thread. Just posted some YT vids with detailed step-by-step guides to getting it all set up and running.

Bought the Ezio collection for just over £10, these three Assassins Creed games are still the strongest of what I’ve played so far, be good to see if Valhalla can overcome any of them.

Are you sure he just hasn't gotten around to it yet in this one?

He may have murdered some. But not all of us yet. We should keep an eye on him.

Green Man Gaming have started doing them, but their discounts are paltry compared to CDKeys. And Amazon just charge full price.

“Lucid Odyssey”

In this short film created by Academy Award-winning director, Taika Waititi, (“Jojo Rabbit,” “Thor Ragnarok,” “Thor: Love and Thunder”), the worlds of art, science, and gaming are merged —bringing the dreams of gamer Krystal Holmes (aka MoonLiteWolf) to life, after she played the Xbox Series X. This epic adventure captures the spirit of the actual research process, the boundless depths of MoonLiteWolf’s detailed and vibrant dreams and then actively challenges our perceptions of one particular Xbox character, as we have known them.

MoonLiteWolf stars in the film as herself with the narration throughout the film coming from the actual audio recorded during the dream study.

Made from Dreams

This week marks a year since the world was introduced to the Xbox Series X and Power Your Dreams. Since then, we’ve explored the possibilities of the next generation of gaming and, in the past few weeks, experienced the world’s most powerful console firsthand.

When we considered the full potential of next-gen gaming and the meaning behind Power Your Dreams, we wondered if the Xbox Series X could actually power gamers’ dreams. With the help of a few members of the Xbox community and some incredibly talented creators, we set out to discover just that.

Using the most advanced dream recording technology, dream scientists conducted lucid dreaming experiments, capturing and decoding the real dreams of gamers after they experienced Xbox Series X. We then partnered with world renowned artists and creators, who took inspiration from the dream data to bring these gamers’ dreams to life through a content series we’re calling, “Made from Dreams.” This content series continues our Power Your Dreams campaign and demonstrates the next generation of Xbox consoles are what dreams are made of – literally.
