I thought the 360 Red Dead Redemption was X enhanced? I installed the game on my big standard XBO and I have sorted my games in console type but it doesn’t appear in the X Enhanced category

I'm in mostly the same place as Parksey re reasons to get back on board with a series S, having skipped the last gen Xbox entirely.

And I am actually so excited for this right now!

So many games to play, also to chat to a few mates online.

It's going to be a long winter, and yet I'm kind of looking forward to it, being much more prepared this time.

Haway, covid winter! Come at me.

It is, it’s 4K.

What single thing are you most looking forward to, Photek?

How comes it doesn’t come under the X Enhanced list? Fable Anniversary doesn’t either

No idea why it’s not in the list but I’m playing RDR undead nightmare at mo and it’s 4K.

I’m looking forward to playing some games I already have at 60fps, Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves and Destiny 2 (possibly Dishonored 2 at 60?) If you’re talking specifically about next gen it’s still Halo Infinite, Fable, STALKER 2 and TES 6

If I had to choose one it’s Halo Infinite.

Just checked, and it appears on the X Enhanced list on my One S.

Weird, on mine (Xbox one Elite) RDR nor Fable show as in the X Enhanced list but other games do like Gears 5 and Left 4 Dead 2

Appears on mine also.

There’s a Series S/X Optimised option too but it doesn’t say any games are yet.

Cool, cheers. Haven't played Forza or Sea of Thieves. Or any Gears since the first, or Halo since 2, so I'm also well excited about trying all these.

Reason I asked specifically was that you seem all over it, but it's just so long since I've paid any attention to the Xbox world, that I actually don't have a clue what to be looking out for! I'll check out those things.

Really excited to discover it all, including any other things like Cuphead which I loved on the Switch. Or things like Geometry wars, which stole a massive chunk of my life on the 360.

To be honest, for what was just a late night impulse purchase (and it's ridiculous that the Series S is priced at impulse buy level) I'm more excited about this launch than any other one since the Gamecube.

You will have an entire Generation to catch up on which is exciting. The Series S is the perfect Gamepass machine for that very reason. Hope you enjoy, and maybe ill see you on the Sea's!

If this does not lead to a GRcade populated boat in SoT i don't know what will. I am a lapsed palyer now due to tiring of playing it in SP, but would dive back in in and instance for some community japes.

I'd be up for some Sea of Thieves, played it quite a bit single player but definitely feels like a game that's much better in a group.

Me too! I started playing it on PC, but I didn't really enjoy solo play. It would take forever to get things done and I was constantly anxious about my cooped chickens being stolen

I managed to get into a couple of good groups using the SoT discord, but far more bad ones.

Have you played Ori and Ori 2 on Switch?

If not, get on them on Game Pass

I think, we should pick like 3-4 games on Gamepass and at least then we can change from game to game or have a dedicated night per game...

There's a decent selection for co-op fun:

Sea of Thieves
Halo MCC - ODST Fire Fight
Gears 5 Horde
Rainbow 6 Siege - Terrorist Hunt
PUBG
DayZ
Elder Scroll Online
Forza Horizon 4
Destiny 2
No Mans Sky
Vermintide 2
World War Z
Golf With Friends
Grounded
Dead by Daylight
Fallout 76

and at Series X Launch:
Titanfall 2
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Battlefield 1/4/5
FIFA 20
Madden 20

I played Ori 1 on Switch Tomous (well actually, just bought it and still haven't played it yet :fp: ).

But I've just been scrolling down the list on Gamepass and am out of my mind with excitement :slol: .

I think there were about 5 games I wanted to play by the time I'd got to the letter B. May not buy another game again. And, Streets of Rage 4!

But definitely up for a few team / co-op online games as well, once I've gotten / reinstated my gamertag again.

If only November would hurry up and get here! These pointless filler weeks in the meantime can get right in the bin.

You're like the anti Milner (who is getting a Series X but NOT gamepass).

Yeah, honestly, I rarely buy games now tbh.

I have bought one game on my 1X (Telling Lies, and i got that with reward points). I have played my 1X just about every day in the past 18 months.

Game Pass is saving me hundreds and hundreds of pounds.

I would be up for MP co-op games. I never have the lastest new game on PS4 so typically i am left out of the conversation, but Game Pass (and the seemingly rampant adoption here of both it and Xbox come next gen) means we should be able to get some fun games going.

For the smaller downloads I think Sea of Thieves, Grounded and DayZ/PUBG would be good.

The Elder Scrolls Online is nearly 100gb, Destiny 2 is the same. :dread:
