You OK there, Petey?

Yep, it's just that they all overlap on my laptop.

I'm going to try and grab the X from John Lewis for launch day if I can.

You all-in on Xbox next gen?

Of course you don't see the difference in a 60fps video.

It crossed my mind that someone would question this :capnscotty:

I posted the link to the downloads of the source files above the YouTube videos and the YouTube videos as a quick look of the content for those who didn't care about the 120fps aspect.

But the source file is itself only 60fps. (unless the Details section of the properties of the file is wrong)

I'm getting a series X and already have Gamepass ultimate until May 2023 so yeah, pretty much.
I wonder if they'll make a new version of the Elite pad as I may be tempted by that next year.

Where's everyone ordering their console from?

Been a while since I've ordered a console so not a clue where the best place to go will be on the 22nd.

I'm hoping to go with John Lewis.
I may go with Argos and pick it up from the shop on release day for that really old school feeling.

I was thinking shopto but I might check if it's a work day and then look at the closest shop to my work which would be Argos.

10th is a Tuesday. Might just preorder at argos and take the day off work to get it from my local Sainsbury’s that’s 10mins down the road.

Would do Amazon or ShopTo but would rather get it first thing rather than wait for a courier to deliver it any time of the day.

I haven't pre-ordered a console in an age now either - was thinking of trying GAME and ShopTo first, then looking elsewhere if they're both sold out.

I just remembered that Battlefield 6 is out next year so I should get a 10 hour free trial with the free EA access.

I can't remember as I've not ordered from them in a while but can I pre-order a console from Argos to be picked up from the store on the day?

I don't think I'd want to be preordering one of these new consoles online unless they let you pick a delivery time slot. strawberry float having it inevitably turn up at stupid-o'clock in the evening when you'll no doubt have the usual sillyGB updates and patches to download and install, especially if you're getting one of the digital-only consoles.

I’m getting a Series X at launch but can’t say I’m excited about it. Halo delayed has taken my enthusiasm away but I will enjoy Valhalla and the back compat improvements plus gears tactics.

I don't usually work Tuesdays I was hoping for Monday or Friday as I work till 10am and would have gone straight to Argos the second I finished

Wonder how difficult it's going to be to actually get hold of these, and the PS5, for Christmas. Are they going to be in short supply? Or pretty readily available?

I'll be pre-ordering both, but they'll be going away until Christmas.

Console pre-orders I've generally gone with ShopTo in the past and not had any issues.
