Microsoft has confirmed Pre-orders will open at 8am UK time on 22nd September at the following retailers both online and in store:

Microsoft Store
GAME (as in the shop GAME)
Argos
Currys PC World
Smyths Toys
John Lewis & Partners
Amazon UK
AO.com
Very.co.uk
Littlewoods
Other retailers are presumably available too. Like Shopto. But not enough for Microsoft to plug ‘em...

Argos, Microsoft and Amazon for me. I have about £150 credit at each place.

Argos or Game for me I think, somewhere I can go to for store opening and pick it up straight away in person. Suppose with Game Pass only really need the console. Unless there's any must-own launch titles that drop. Possibly Assassin's Creed

With such good back compat support, my plan was to trade in the previous consoles. Game are currently offering £220 for an Xbox One X, which is quite a tasty saving! Slightly terrified I'll trade stuff in and they'll go belly up though. :dread:

Do Microsoft still use UPS for their deliveries?

Well that's a lot better than Music Magpie (£155) and Cash Converters (£180) are offering.

I was thinking about trading both my consoles at the end of June to get the best price but thought it silly to be without a console for five months!

Is that Xbox One X price £220 cash, or money off a new console purchase?

Trying to decide between Game and Amazon. I've seen a few people say they won't pre-order consoles though Amazon again without giving details of what's happened to make them feel that way.

The major reason is that Amazon will absolutely screw you over, not fill you in on anything, and then on the day it was meant to be delivered tell you it's been delayed due to stock issues. Sometimes they'll even have taken payment to keep you locked into that order so you don't just cancel and go elsewhere.

Have MS explained how the Xbox all access thing works if you have a bunch of prepaid game pass? Do you basically have no option but to buy the console outright?

An Xbox All Access purchase includes 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So, what happens if I have an existing Xbox Game Pass and/or Xbox Live Gold membership when I purchase a console with Xbox All Access?

If you're already an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass member, any days remaining in your membership(s) will be converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a conversion ratio when you redeem the 24-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership and added to your Ultimate membership up to a maximum of 36 months. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships are limited to 36 months.

If you’re already an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, wait until your existing membership has a prepaid balance that is less than 12 months before redeeming the 24-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership through Xbox All Access. You will be unable to redeem with more than 12 prepaid months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

To check your prepaid balance, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services. Note, once converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Live Gold and other Game Pass memberships cannot be unconverted. Learn more at http://www.xbox.com/gamepass.

Thank you Rinks! Didn’t realize the game pass portion was basically 24 months prepaid I assumed it would renew each month!

It's £220 in credit, so either towards a new console or games, etc. The website says that you can get £198 cash for it though, which is also pretty good. That price depends on the condition of the console, if you've got the box, and all of that stuff though!

That's a great price considering Amazon were selling refurb One X for £175 the other week.

That'd be brilliant if it was to do so. With other games in the series already a part of the service (though Rally 2.0 is leaving soon), it makes sense for the new one to launch into it at the same time as its release. Not only is it a great move to get others interested into the series who have been waiting for the new one specifically, such a move also gets it into the hands of those new players using the cloud gaming part of GPU.
