Cheers, gone for the same 5TB WD drive. Makes it an easier decision when you can pay monthly on it with Amazon :shifty:

SSD?

Moving SSD to Internal Series X drive (and back again) takes seconds, I'm glad I have one but might invest in another.

Elara.ie (free Irish shipping unlike Amazon) has SSD's for much cheaper... :shifty:

Pedz! You're in the market for next gen?!? :o ... :toot: .

Smyths - Stock due "November"- click

Xbox Series X stock is also expected to be made available to purchase online at UK retailers on Saturday, November 21 and then again on Friday, November 27

Yeah, I may be able to get the Series X due to the Full Access upgrade for myself, though I'm trying to get one for one of the kids first as it's more a priority as it'll be a Christmas present.

Thanks jawa, dude.

If you're already on the All Access service then I think Smyths are accepting upgrades at this point. Just not accepting new applications. Might be worth giving it a go.

Yeah, I've been trying but it says it's out of stock.

I actually thought I’d posted it in the PS5 thread, for my PS5 as I already have an external connected to my Series X for non Series X games. I have 30 games installed and about 130GB free still on the internal so should be able to manage it. For now :shifty:

1TB WD Elements HDD for £42... I could really do with that amount of space. And with it being a fast loader, it means my One X could probably take a break.

Ah, why not? Bought.

Unfortunately not an SSD. Just a regular HD to store things on rather than play off it. I did consider a 1TB SSD for £135, but can always look again in the future.

I just got a 4TB HDD for just under £90 I’ll happily take the ‘pain’ of potentially 10 minute transfers to and from the slower HDD to the internal SSD rather than having to re-download stuff or spend another £200 on 1TB of storage!

I had a 5TB Hardrive for the Xbox One so I have just moved that from the One to the X series , im planning on just punting stuff across as needs be. I hope it will inspire me to finish more things in a way though.

Im going to need a external SSD sooner rather than later, currently sitting at 23% left in my storage and want to download Destiny 2 :dread:

Is there a way to see how big games are on your xbox anywhere?

Yep, if you go to My games & apps, then Manage (on the left), Storage devices, then press the Menu (start/pause) button on Internal and select Uninstall things.

For a quick look at how much storage any one specific game is using you can also go to My Games and Apps, hover over a game tile and select Manage game (by pressing the View button on the Xbox controller, the one that looks like two little rectangles).

Depending on how much of the Master Chief Collection you actually play you can uninstall the bits you don't need which could free you up a decent amount of space

Control Ultimate Edition has the X|S symbol on its tile... :?:

EDIT: it’s a place holder apparently.

If you buy the ultimate edition does your save carry over from the basic game? Wondering if it's actually a better option to just pay the extra £5 for the whole game again :slol:

Breakdown of the CoD download elements. I’m quite surprised to see that the ray tracing data alone accounts for 12GB.

I don’t know. I would expect so, but can’t be sure. I’m probably going to wait for the upgrade before starting it anyway.
