Of course not...its just been wildly over-rated by just about everyone.

Geometry Wars is still a very good game, but this version isn't the best yet and it doesn't have the impact it did at the 360s launch. 7/10.

Allowing for some PES based snobbery 81% isn't a bad score. I didn't buy FIFA 2008 because the PS3 demo was a graphical mess and I held off buying Euro 2008 in anticipation of FIFA 2009.

So unless the PS3 demo is another nightmare filled with glitches and slowdown I'll be buying it.

It isn't one of those *internet connection required, is it? Con tactics used by shitty magazines like Play. Even OPS2 used it once. I think it's absolutely disgusting behaviour. The bag is usually done in advance, so they probably thought they were going to have the VP2 review but it slipped/something went wrong at the last minute.

Anyway, seems like another good issue this month. I'll pick it up at some point, if & when I can find it.

I have to say, 81% is disappointing because I'd hoped it would be amazing. Madden fully deserves that score though - it's awesome.

Indeed it did, some of the little touches they added from last year are simply amazing, a fantastic update by EA.

I can't believe the praise the game is getting for making friends highscores more prominent...sure its a good idea, but its hardly the huge step up that leaderboards were in the first place, its definitely not a revolutionary step.

Galaga Legions is about a million times better game.

Yep that's the reason it's getting praised. Nothing to do with the different game modes and way it plays.
