There's plenty wrong with XC2, and I say that as a huge fan of the game, but the British accents isn't one of them

Yes it was so refreshing to hear a Scottish accent in pop culture that was a heavily exaggerated Glaswegian

Playing the first one now and, although I am really enjoying it, JRPGs feel mostly interchangeable for me so I'm not sure if I'm excited for this news or not.

I'm in, particularly if they don't tinker too much with the battle system from XC2.

Still would have preferred a sequel to XCX but more Xenoblade in any form is a-ok with me. Didnt expect to see it this year so super happy about that.

the game's director has talked about it a bit saying this is an idea theyve had since between 1 & 2. he also seems to have forgotten that X exists

Probably for the best

Good to see the same composers are still on board too as the soundtrack has been consistently stellar.

From my understanding it wasn’t really part of the chronicles story anyway.

The voice acting in this trailer was awful  :dread:

Good to see another XC game though

I don't have issues with voice acting and British accents. It was weird when I played the first game but its so refreshing from the generic US mono accents you get in all other RPG’s

Where's the fan service? :shifty:

This will be a day 1 purchase for me, but I am disappointed to not see something similar in style to X. I might go out and get a Wii U to play it again or just emulate it.

Switch is the home of Chronicles-it's going to have the full trilogy.

I would not be surprised if we see X appear in some form as their next project post XC3.

Why do people want to see something like X? It was far and away the worst in the series, an MMO with barely any of the MM part and a plot so thin it would break if you breathed at it funny.

X was good but I felt it could have been a lot better had they used Elma as the player character rather than a no name, a sequel could be really good as well with the ending we got.

XC3 looks great anyway, will be interesting to see how this ties in with the previous 2, I’m guessing a loose connection like we’ve seen in the past.

I really liked the way 2 and 1 linked together so I'm excited to see how they weave this into the mix as well.

It feels like it may have closer ties to 1, at least from a surface level viewing
