Xenoblade Chronicles 3 [Switch]

This game would look strawberry floating amazing on better hardware. Like those first bunch of areas where you go through them and then look back from a high vantage point and see the places you went through? Incredible feeling, but hampered by a patchy framerate.

Still liking it a lot, it's strawberry floating Xenoblade. But they got a little too ambitious with this one in terms of graphics, much like XC2. The switch can't keep up.

Got to the boss fight in chapter three with Evil Joran. He killed the strawberry float out of me :lol:

have you tried over levelling?

I died the first time I did that, went and got myself one bonus level putting me one above the boss and destroyed it the second time. :toot:

I’m saving the bonus exp for when I need it, my party is nearly level 28 but can level up to 32 if I need to at the moment.

I'm 32 at the minute, and am thinking of challenging the 45s at the battlefield where the game starts to level up a bit faster. It's possible, but does take a bit of skill to survive past the first one. Fortunately, you keep the EXP after death, so I could easily just keep stubbornly diving into the hive until I eventually beat them all and find myself at 50.

If you do the side content like at all you seriously won't need the bonus XP. If anything I'd say don't use it or you become overlevelled super fast.

I’m trying to find most of the side content but undoubtedly I’ll miss some. I’m only planning on using it if I come across a stubborn boss or something, even then I’d level up 1 level at a time till I do it, seem to recall I did similar in XC2 till right near the end where I just used it all.

I have enough bonus exp to go up 13 levels

Managed to get another hour into this tonight, no idea what level the main quest is going to be when I get back to it but I’ve just got onto level 28 with them all, doing another Hero quest for Colony Gamma, I’m about the right level for the Hero quests which makes me think I’ll be slightly overlevelled for the main quest but I’ll wait and see!

Just gone onto the last of the starting 6 classes for each of them too, I think I’ll get them all up to level 10 but will have to choose (well, Google :shifty:

) which classes are worth taking further. Where is this good area for grinding up the classes anyway? Is it obvious once you get there? What chapter is it in?

A couple of times now I've had a popup after collecting things that makes it seem like I've picked up a new gem to equip, but when I go into the gems menu it's not there.

Anyone know what that's all about?

If you're picking up gem stones they're ingredients to craft gems.

No it's not gemstones, it's a popup with the actual name of a gem itself on there as if I've collected it or something. I'll have to try and take a video next time

Need to get back playing this, haven’t been on it in the last week.

Worked out my gem popup issue - looks like you can "pin" an item list for a gem you want to craft and then any time you pickup any item from that list it pops up the name of the gem - seems more confusing than useful but there you go! :lol:

Well I think I’m onto the final chapter. At just seven minutes shy of 101 hours

And if I may JORAN!!! also strawberry float you D
