Yes. One thousand times. Yes.

It is my hope that they release XC2 in another generation or two, and they fix some of the character models. The women are anime tiddy central and I feel slightly embarrassed by it. Mythra and Pyra were designed by a very talented but obviously very horny teenager. Same goes for Morag's blade.

Found the secret location on the fallen arm

Of course there is more side quests as well  not too many thankfully!

The designer is known doujin artist lol. Just makes it all the more frustrating why they decided to go that direction. But it's not like the series is new to it either. I loved that they got other various artists to contribute with the different blade designs tho.

I legit think they should have just paid Nomura more to do the main character designs.

I love the design of the main cast in XC2, Pyra is obviously a bit much but Rex, Nia, Morag, Zeke, Dromach and so on are all excellent. It's really in the design of some of the blades that things go awry!

I've been surprised that this has made similar missteps as well, lots of the armour choices for Melia and Sharla are dodgy and some of the High Entia woman turning up now are in ludicrous outfits too. :fp:

Yeah, Sharla's armour choices we're def sus. Especially since it stood out compared to everyone else and simply just didn't suit her.

Just met Vanea; now her costume was completely suspect!

Were they all doujin artists? It looked like they were all doujin artists.

It's easy to see the biggest offenders and assume they're all the same, but no lol. There are still a lot of incredible designs I feel like people are ignoring. I was looking at the all the optional Blades the other day and I honestly only felt a handful of them were truly questionable compared to the rest.

I seriously cannot remember when the inane amount of side quests lets up, only doing all of the ones on the fallen arm as they give plenty of experience. I’m pretty sure the Mechonis Field has its fair share as well :(

Agreed, when they get it wrong they really get it wrong but the vast majority of designs are actually nice

One the best designs in the game is perceval and I'm tight I never got him. Legit want to see a future Xeno game in that kinda art style.

I loved the variety of them, seeing someone like Electra bobbing along next to a beast like Wulfric was bizarre!

Regret selling my copy because I'm super curious to see what Blades I collected throughout the game. The gacha system still ticks me off to this day. It ruined my motivation with trying to get them all. The Blade I wanted most was Herald. Another one Nomura designed, but apparently super rare.

I'm glad I find some enjoyment in farming for things. The amount of legendary core crystals I wasted before getting all the blades was ridiculous.

Adenine was a pretty cool design and Boreas had a touch of the Baymax.

Now into the Mechonis/Mechonis Field area, really liked this one from my 3DS playthrough so looking forward to it again.

I absolutely loved the tonal shift going into Mechonis Field. Great theme too.

That was probably my least favourite area. I much favour the ruined organic look of things like fallen arm.
