It just felt like a nice change of pace, that's enough for me lol. If had to nitpick then I'd say it was far too big and often felt repetitive. It didn't need two whole separate areas either. If you weren't using Shulk or had the right "weapons" then it was tedious fighting some of the Mechons too.

Mechonis Field was ugly as sin, but HK’s not wrong about the music. Belting theme.

Yeah. Too many lifts, too many switches and too many boring mechon fights. I hated the factory/city areas in XC2 as well though so maybe it's just not my thing.

I’ll be hoping to finish off Mechonis Field this evening, got probably about 25% (I’d guess) through it last night so another few hours with it and I should be onto the next, can’t actually recall where I go next though inside the Bionis to the Bionis heart?.

I think after I’ve polished off the last few side quests from
hidden Village in Mechonis Field they can just do one finally, getting really fed up with them now

This. I reckon I'm near the end of this area; it's been a bit of a slog. There seems to be a hell of a lot of weapon and armour drops here; tbh, I've prob spent half the time deciding what to equip between the party members!

Have you watched any of their Quiet Moments? It puts them is a much greater light then just going off story scenes. The one with Kino and Melia you get to see later on is a personal fave of mine.

Making good progress with this tonight and I’ll be continuing for a while yet I hope! Currently going through the Central Factory.

Does Riki die between the main story and future connected?

I loved Nene but that's probably one of weaker ones lol. I respect they're not your thing tho.

Good to see even in the Mechonis capital the bunch people from Bionis get given over a dozen quests to do :fp: I’m literally doing to one that gives exp, the side quests do ever so slightly dampen the rest of the game, luckily the main portion of the game just gets better and better as you go through it

Edit, onto chapter 15 and just got back into the central factory.

Seem to have got myself into a bit of a problem......

At the chapter 15 fight against Egil and I’m 5 levels under their level, with no option to grind out a couple more levels, I’m fine up until you have to destroy the 3 support things but then loads more enemies turn up as well :fp: could be here a while

Edit, put it down to casual and its down

Got to Agniratha last night; but not before spending an hour and a half trying to beat Sinful Lamorak. Did it in the end but he was a complete git. Didn't drop anything that spectacular either :fp:

On to chapter 17 now, I’ll definitely be grinding to level 75 for that boss fight.

With grinding, the future is ours to decide!
