Should be good to finish it at that level if you’re ready to.

Yeah, you will probably walk through the final battles, you will probably level up during those fights as well.

The arts book aren't really that important. I didn't max out a lot of Shulk's abilities as the art books seemed to be random drops from enemies.

Made some good progress on Future a Connected this morning, not really sure what level you’ll roughly end up on by the end (I’m guessing 80 ish?) but currently level 74 and have explored nearly all of the Bionis shoulder. Just doing some side quests that have appeared now before moving on with the main quest, think I’ve got 9 of the 12 Nopon as well. Speaking of the Nopon, how do you get the item that’s near the cliff side laboratory that looks massively out of reach? Can’t see anyway up there currently, got the other 19 needed for this side quest already.

Took me a while to realise that's actually underneath that area down by where the dinosaurs are.

Oh is it? Thanks, saved me loads of time for looking for a way up to find out it’s not there!

And done. Very satisfying conclusion. Tempted to dive back in for a NG+ or the extra stuff but maybe I need a palette cleanser first.

Think I’m nearing the end of Future Connected now, not sure if I can be bothered doing the rest of the side quests or if I should just crack on and get it finished with so few of the side quests actually giving extra exp now (just got one to do, which gives a very nice 100k exp which I’ll definitely be trying). The side quests are definitely better than the constant item/monster quests in the base game but I’d still prefer far less side quests which are more involved, each with greater rewards.

Much like with the Torna DLC for XC2, future connected is a very good piece of additional content for the base game, really have enjoyed my time with it (however much/little more I have to do in it).

I don't care how long we have to wait for MS's next game, I just pray they have a Photo Mode for it >,>

Absolutely! Even without a photo mode I've still taken loads of screenshots across this and XC2

Done (well, just the final cutscenes to watch), that was great though. Melia absolutely obliterates most enemies though  really should have made use of her in the main game!

I agree about a photo mode though, towards the very end of the main game there was one area in particular that made for some breathtaking pictures :)

After nearly 10 years and 120hrs I've finally finished Xenoblade :toot:

Just hit level 80 before the last boss, so he went down first time. The final section and ending were epic! I did not expect that.

I don't know what it is but with both XC2 and now this I seem to get a certain way through the story and from that point on just find myself very over-levelled. Think I'm on chapter 10 or 11 and I'm already at level 53 and everything I encounter is 5-10 levels below me!

Still making my way on with this, up to chapter 15 now and the strawberry floating Mechonis has only gone and strawberry floating woken up!

I'm assuming I'm not far off the end now, it has grown on me more and more as I've gone through but the story takes strawberry floating ages to get its gooseberry fool together - I'd say that only the last few chapters have finally given me something to give a gooseberry fool about!

Overall my view hasn't changed massively, it's a very good game but I still enjoyed pretty much everything about the sequel more

Cool, feels like there might not be many new areas left now? I've enjoyed the change in style and design that the Mechonis locations brought but it's a shame there haven't been more open locations since the Bionis

I found the final part of the game you're in to be a bit more linear, as it sends you to areas you've seen before. Remember you've got future connected to play which is a really nice new zelda area to explore. I think I had a good 15 hours out of that.

Definitely looking forward to Future Connected, everyone seems to have good things to say about it

I'm slowly making my way through DE so I've only just got to Makna Forest but I agree with you. I'm still really enjoying replaying the first game through the DE but I do feel that the sequel expanded on the original so it's a bit strange going back to XC1, even as DE, after playing XC2.

Chapter 15 done and just witnessed the most telegraphed betrayal of all time from Dickson
