Been listening to the soundtrack from this again at work today, I know I sound like a broken record at this point (but hey, what a good record to get stuck on! :lol:

) but I still find it hard to believe just how much bloody amazing music there is in this game! :wub:

Yeah I must say the soundtrack is great, love the boss battle theme that kicks up and gets the hype going!

Coming up to 30 hours and still in Chapter 5, did some side quests last night which were pretty good (One where a dead body was found in the hot spring at the Inn) also stumbled across a quest where Percival gets involved, guessing this only trigger because I have him in Morag’s team of blades, will have to look into what blades trigger quest lines.

Yeah there are a number of Blade specific quests that will only trigger once specific criteria are met (having awoken the Blade, got your affinity level with the Blade to a certain level etc.)

There's some really good content in the Blade quests

I’ll have to hunt them out, I quite like shipping some of them off to to the quests and get them levelled up while they are not assigned to anyone. It did help that when I started playing it I had a ton of cores to us thanks to the season pass drops :lol:

The blade quests provide some of the best side quest content for sure.

And some of the worst (Ursula's :fp:

indeed. ursula's only really became feasible in new game plus

Jin is such a great character

On Chapter 7 and I have seemingly reached a point in the main quest where I’m currently locked out of continuing on with it due to lacking certain field skill levels (Ancient Wisdom) which is really annoying as I was enjoying exploring the area and now I’ll have to head back to another place to grind out these skills.

What level of Ancient Wisdom do you need? Remember that Field Skills stack so if you have two Blades in your party with level 1 then you will pass a level 2 skill check

It’s level 3 and I have 2 at level 1 so I’ll need to level one of those up (Seems to be tied to get X amount of mechanical items so I’ll have to go salvaging for a bit)

Only took 2 salvaging runs to upgrade in the end :lol:

took all of 5 mins

Just got to the end of Chapter 7, that whole ending sequence was :datass:
