Just downloaded the dlc (not Torna) how much extra is there and is it easy to find?

All of the extra items and such are just in the menu for you to redeem right there and then.
You need to progress to certain points in the story to redeem some of it.

the quests tell you where to find them

Why do lesser enemies decided not to fight you until you are fighting something difficult than they want to join in

That or you’re on the brink of defeating one of the tougher enemies and one of your party decides to go agro some other enemies

Is there an easy way to sort blades out to activate field actions?

Not really but don't forget that blades on characters who aren't in your fighting party also count (if you have more than 3 characters) so you can equip field skill blades on them instead.

Yeah this is pretty much the most useful tip - load your non-party characters with a good mix of field skills and it should cut down on the amount of time you need to spend swapping blades around.

They really should have just made it that you met the requirements across your blades whether they were equipped or not.

God yes. This was my number one complaint with the game and it’s such an easy fix.

Agreed, i knew about the other characters and their blades. Its so frustrating having to switch out all the time.

Had this come from Boomerang this month, liking it so far, it’s kinda slow and seem massively long but enjoyable.

Am on Chapter 3 right now, was a game I’d half considered before but wasn’t sure I would like, having the rental thing really helped as I can just send it back.

Wait until you do the challenge battle where you fight two of them at once and they're higher level than the one in the story.
