I'll probably go back at level 45 or something and do some more side stuff for now.

gooseberry fool memory probably.

I recommend doing the side missions though, they flesh the game out a lot. The main story is kinda bare bones.

It's definitely an intentional face-plant to stop Skells making you feel invincible. Also after a while you get tired of bouncing around in a heavy Skell with slow ability recharge. You start to run out of fuel a lot more, which is expensive. The game is designed for on foot stuff as well as Skells, which is why you can get in and out of them (or tell your team-mates to get into them and just ignore your own command) and caves exist.

Continued to level up this morning, accidentally wandered into Cauldros :datass: I like the way there a mix of enemy levels in every area so no matter sneer you are, you can progress to a degree.

Useful trick I accidentally discovered earlier is that your class levels up even if your in a skell, so while I'm level 10 at the top skill I want to use, I'm building up some of the other trees by fighting high level enemies in my skells. I level them quickly without having to be hampered by having lots level arts.

That looks *so* cool. Right, decision made... I'm gonna play Xenoblade X. I have been neglecting my Wii U but seeing Ad's adventures reported here over the past few weeks has made me want to rectify that.

Jawa, do it! Be aware the robots don't come till 30 or so hours in though.

Went back to the fight after leveling up hard and upgrading my gear, wrecked them all in under 30 seconds

Just been given the flight module mission, ohhhhh yes.

You must have spent a ridiculous amount of money that early in.

I've got to raise Gwin's affinity from nothing to a full heart just to progress now, strawberry floating bullshit.

Bought another one of the toughest skells earlier as I'm sick of elma wrecking one every fight.

Jesus chapter 11 is tough, I got inside and it's throwing loads of tough enough enemies including tyrants at me.
