Game needs more love

From Wii U thread

I got the the boss with the massive robot (SPOLIERS!!) where you have multiple enemies and you really need to take them out first (the little ships and skells) before targeting weapons on the Giant Flying Robot UFO thing. The game automatically locked onto the boss only making it virtually impossible to play without knowing how to change targets.

It has felt much more fluid after having any camera control/lock on. Really opened up. My entire team has Skells now.

Actually, I raided the last area and found what I think is the end game area, totally empty, just smashed through it with my team. It was cool being able to do that even if it doesn't make sense in the story, which I'm only about 60% through I think.

May have already happened. I'm down to 0 and 1 insurance on all skells, thought I'd take on one of those bronchiosaurus things in Primordia (fail) and in cauldros my Skell was instant KO'd from one sky bound super stomp from some giant ninja Skell on top of the fortress. And later destroyed. It was the original level 20 urban though, no big loss. Unless I lost my gear as well. :dread:

The imperial mamocks and Zigs are just fodder now however. I'm starting to realise you are better off on foot more of the time as at least you don't lose anything.

You shouldn't be losing any insurance, are you hitting the qte thing when your skell is destroyed?

I've only hit it about 2 or 3 times. I find everything going on too distracting. :fp:

You have to hit it bang on to not use insurance. If you hit it as a "good" only you just eject without losing any health.

Smashing my way through Oblivia at the moment, rediscovered a Mammuck outpost that I should be able to work through.

I do wish there were more substantial rewards like weapon chests and stuff instead of 100% random drops, but it's still fun just to explore by fighting you way into the crannies.

After Cauldoros was a bit smaller than I was expecting, it's mesmerising to see again just how massive the other areas are.

My Skell team currently has gattling guns, electric beams, javelins and other cool weapons, and I'm now equipped with a sniper rifle that decimates most small enemy appendages immediately.

I've also seen the benefit of faster fire weapons that have a lot of ammo - the volley can amount to more damage with less cooldown than other more powerful weapons where you stand around doing nothing, which can get a bit dull.

They may as well port it to the Switch  they’re rapidly running out of Wii U ports :capnscotty:

Seriously though, the two Zelda games and maybe this is all the ones that they might still bring over?

I thought this would have been rarer/more expensive than it is, given it's not a main line game and was on the Wii U. It's "only" £30 at CEX. Temtped to pick it up, as I'm going to get my Wii U back at the weekend and can finally play it, after about 7 years.

... . I know it's off topic, but Wanted: Dead is *really* looking to have a Devil's Third vibe.
