So if this is out in September, why is not on any websites to preorder?

I want that PS3 Wii pad!

They'll be waiting on the official Nintendo announcement.

So let us recap:

European Exclusive
    * with Limited Edition containing a Red Classic Controller Pro
    * and a Preorder Bonus of a Limited Edition Poster which includes the autograph of Tetsuya Takahashi
    * and a pretty good English Dub
    * and the Japanese voices, if you want
    * and a second fan-voted reversible cover.

Suffice to say, if this fails it isn't because NoE didn't try.

I'm all for more British voices in games, but that dub and script is up there with classics such as Baten Kaitos.

"We won, thanks to everyone!" made me lol irl.

Why can't they put this much effort into localising something thats actually good.

And so people don't misunderstand, when I say 'actually good', what I mean is not another stilted, by the numbers, anime JRPG.

Also the music is gooseberry fool.

This looks like Final Fantasy XII which isn't a traditional JRPG. How can you say the music is gooseberry fool

Nintendo has announced Xenoblade Chronicle's European bundle is a pre-order exclusive at Game and Gamestation in the UK.

The bundle pack - which includes a red Classic Controller Pro - was spotted online yesterday.

The game box itself features a reversible cover with an alternative design chosen by fans. The bundle also contains three exclusive posters, "electronically signed" by the founder of Monolith Software, Tetsuya Takahashi.

Even if its a traditional JRPG thats not necessarily a bad thing. Tales of Symphonia, Wild Arms, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia and Alundra could all be described as standard JRPGs but they are all classic games.

Plus complaining that a JRPG looks anime-esque is like complaining about shooting things in an FPS.

Nonsense.

Its more like complaining about brown corridor shooters...except that doesn't apply to the vast majority of the FPS genre in the same way this does to the vast majority of JRPGs.

Its not like there isn't good Japanese animation out there that games could take graphical queues from either. If they all started looking like Studio Ghibli films that'd be one less thing to complain about.

Nintendo America just confirmed they've no plans to localise this, Last Story or Pandora's Tower.

European Supremacy. 8-)

Seriously? Wow! Three Nintendo RPGs, two of them very well received critically too. I just hope NOE are this prolific with 3DS and Wii U.

I'm surprised by The Last Story, tbh, and part of me still thinks that they are bringing it over, but even a massive PR fan campaign won't make them announce it until they're ready. NoA couldn't be *that* out of touch though, right? A Last Story announcement, and an apology about the rest, would have at least offered the movement some sense of victory.

In saying that I don't think this is *entirely* worth all the outrage. They do deserve some outrage, but part of me isn't entirely comfortable with the way certain fans are reacting, and Xenoblade is basically the first *big* game that the US are missing out on. There were people calling for the EU version to be canned, because there is no way Europe should get it and not the US. I mean, how messed up must you be that you can't even let Europe get *one* over the many the US has?

Now they'll know how it feels!
