You can get the original at CeX for 50p on XBOX, quite tempted to pick a copy up if I happen to see one.

EDIT: There are a couple of copies in my local CeX. I think I’ll pick a copy up at the weekend.

Did we play the same game? I rather enjoyed it and it has 74/8.1 on Metacritic.

Some rose tinted spectacles in here. The graphics and presentation were a novelty but I don't remember the game with any particular fondness.

I really enjoyed it, nothing rose tinted here. The ending annoyed me though. :x

One of the most satisfying feelings I've ever had in any game is throwing a knife directly into an enemy's face in XIII :datass:

Don't you know it. The throwing knives felt great, in combination with the TAP TAP indicators for enemy movement the stealth sections were the highlight of the game for me. Like this timestapped part with the comic book cut-ins too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAExLC7YQtI&t=76

It’s coming on November 10th this year.

I played it back in the day for a little bit but don’t recall being very keen, but I will give it another look.

I'm a bit worried they've dialed back on the stylings that made the game so good. The comic book cut-ins seem a lot less significant now - they're smaller, quicker, and possibly don't sound as satisfying either (hard to tell with the trailer music though). Compare this headshot in the new trailer to this one in the original.

The cel shading looks less striking too

Looks too realistic. If they add a level select to the campaign mode and both a stage and character select to the multiplayer, I might still be interested, but otherwise I'll just replay this on the GameCube.

I'll get it if it still has the split screen multi. Most of my fun came from the mode were an evil girl chased you around the room.
