strawberry float yeah. Warm mince pie with cream is next-level stuff.

I don't always warm them, mainly for convenience, but am always glad when I do.

The big Sainsburys I got the mince pies from had a massive Christmas section already up :toot:

On a semi related note, my Mrs and I were discussing what films to save watching for Christmas day and she's NEVER SEEN THE GOONIES :dread: I have the bluray, this will be fixed Mark my words.

And having that discussion gave you a semi?

I must say, the Goonies hasn't aged well. :shifty: Does your wife like the sound of kids screeching at each other for 90 minutes?

Is there debate to Gremlins being a Christmas film on here? It opens with Christmas trees and Darlene Love but I know of some (those who incorrectly believe Die Hard isn't a Christmas film) might think it's more Halloweeny.

Gremlin's is an examination of Western Commercialization, and the role of family.

It's a Christmas film.

Unlike Die Hard

Die Hard is just about as Christmassy as Christmas films get.

Debenhams by me is already in full on Christmas mode :slol: trees, lights, the full works. Seems a bit mad, but I do love Christmas so I'll let them off 8-).

I never buy anything from shots for Christmas, but the atmosphere you get from visiting really adds to the Christmas feels. Add a brass band playing outside and you're in heaven. .
