I've only actually had three Christmases living on my own and found them to be quite tough, even though I was in relationships. The middle one, in 2006, I actually insisted on crashing on my mum's sofa because I found the idea of waking up on my own to be pretty crushing.

Wow, it really feels like 2001 in here. The only way it could be better is if the background were that Christmas screensaver where holiday greetings and Christmas imagery (the tree, holly leaves etc) got snowed all up on, like Falling Sand but way before its time.

I think what I find most annoying it this has broken the top bar where you can go to your posts etc. for this thread.
