Acceptable while texting, being a laid back casual kinda person, or if you're otherwise in a rush.

I hate this thread so much. The damn graphics slow my computer to gooseberry fool every time I click the thread and forget about them. Should come with disclaimers.

For some reason it loads and browses fine on my phone and iPad but on my Windows 10 PC it refuses to open in Edge (before anyone asks, I quite like edge for the most part, only the shocking YouTube performance let's it down) for some reason.

Woke up this morning with Queen's "Thank Good It's Christmas" stuck in my head.

Christmas!

I've not even thought about Christmas shopping yet! I have got the last week of November off so hopefully I can get a good chunk of it done then (online of course ).

Saw the “Holiday’s are coming” Coca Cola advert on TV. They’ve completely remastered it this year, rather than the old grainy 4:3 original. Looks great.

The Elton John Lewis one should be coming tomorrow, if all this ITV teasing is true.

Christmas really is coming.

For me the true arrival of Christmas was always the toys r us advert and the coke one. Sitting in the front room with the new argos catalogue making a list of the toys I wanted
I was 28 years old ahhhh

Toys R Us :( Was always the Coke and Argos ones for me.

Wife bought the first new decorations, a lovely pair of wood carved snowflakes. A bit too classy for my taste, but I'll make it up with some neon and one of those mechanical Father Christmases that go up and down a ladder.

I may have to get some new decorations this year. I always feel like we never have enough lights around the inside of the house.

I’m popping over to Berlin on Tuesday so will see what festivities are there. Then we’re getting the decorations up when I’m back. Have to hold out for the tree though since they’re not usually sold until actual December.

Not keen on the Elton John ad. Maybe if they’d done a selection of stars or different types - ir not just singers/ musicians.

Comes across as charming but also a bit of a vanity project.

Surprised they didn’t throw a quick bit of footage of him singing at the royal funeral just to hit all the schmaltz points at once.
