Going to have to go with escaping everyday life and I love to get lost in a good interactive story

If I was twenty years younger, I'd hopefully be working the industry in some creative capacity. I was just a bit too old to catch that curve when it really kicked in. But the games I love are the ones that inspire me creatively, musically, etc. While there might be much to criticize in 'the industry' (and there is), at the bottom of it all there is just the art. That's what I originally came for, and that's what I stayed for. Still just as easily mesmerized by all the pretty pictures.

You can tell a lot about a game by the quality of its corridors. Doom 3 had some of the best - for its time.
