I feel like flying over there, tracking that p*** down and killing him. I seriously do. I hope someone does, no one will miss him, he's just a little bas****!

It's a very sad story.

Fighting violence with violence only leads to more problems. Sadly.

They don't have any real powers anymore thanks to the lentil munchers and our over-litigious society. Sorry to come across all Littlejohn here, but you've got to ask why the police are no longer seen as figures of authority to people like this.

I think something big has to be done about these people if we are to move on as a society. The quicker this problem is dealt with (by whatever means, as long as it delivers results) the quicker we can look back on it as a temporary blot in our history: that embarassing era where thousands upon thousands of bitter, dejected peasants were allowed to regress to man's primal stage and pour their contempt upon everything and everyone (often with disastrous or fatal consequences) and breed like vermin, while the police were too bound by regulations and political correctness to actually play an effective part in the solution.

A pleasing aspect of my job is that we actively do rehab work with offenders and our recidivism rates are massively more favorable than the prison system. They are challenged on all aspects of their offending behaviours. Seen so many horrid specimens like that one over the years. Its challenging but rewarding when you confront them with themselves.

Exactly. We (you lot, not me ;) ) vilify the police and wonder why they do nothing in situations like this. It's because they have no leverage anymore in society.
On the link it lists the poor families ten year ordeal of what she reported. And when you read it, there really isn't anything the police can do because they powerless in these situations. I'll bet my house though that when a policeman does do something about a problem similar to this one though, he/she'll be the subject of a witch hunt courtesy of the media.

This is a really nasty incident though, really makes you sick to the stomach.

To be honest, this problem would be over a lot quicker if I simply confronted them with a loaded rifle instead.

Thats it, kids these days know they have absolutely nothing to fear from cops if theyre under 16. They cant be touched, so they run riot. I know there will always be bad kids, i went to school with a freak who raped his 6yr old stepsister, but you have to ask what is it about society nowadays that breeds little gooseberry fools like rats? You can blame the parents and the scumbag kids til the cows come home, but theres something rotten in society as a whole these days that allows 16yr old kids to get to a stage where bullying people into suicide is seen as 'just one of those things kids get up to'.

I'd rather continue putting the blame on the parents of these kids. Ultimately it's their responsibility, and I think the rotten society angle gives bad parents an excuse not to raise their own properly. It's just poor education and laziness. Have you ever come across one of them nasty kids and then seen his/her parent? The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

Oh yeah, i agree totally. The kids dont just pick up this kind of behavior from TV. I think its a case of the rotten society producing these parents who produce these even worse kids. Personally speaking id love to see them all sterilized but sadly im not in a position of power.

Cool story, broski.

It is definitely a problem that needs drastic action.

I've thought a few times how nice it'd be around here if 'someone' went and just stabbed all the pikeys, would be a lot better. Although that'd make that person as bad as them.

That 'someone' should stab all the pikeys, then hand themselves over to the police. That way the person isn't quite as bad. What with serving the time for the crime.

There's no discipline and these kids get attention by being banana splits. At the school my mum works in the bad kids get rewarded with free bacon sandwiches, kick boxing lessons and all sorts of gooseberry fool that isn't available for well behaved kids.

The sooner we abandon the overly PC bullshit the sooner we can end their nihilistic attitudes with good old fashioned beatings and borstal.

Personally, I wouldn't consider stabbing pikeys to be a crime.

The other sad fact is that the cycle of bad parenting continues when these lovely people have kids. And, even sadder, LOTS of kids. They tend to out-sprog the good people of this fair isle, unfortunately, which means that this problem is only going to get worse and worse and worse.

Gordon Brown's going to talk about tackling anti-social behaviour in his speech this afternoon. Again. For about the eightieth time that Labour have promised "tough action" since they came to power. What a strawberry floating joke.

This isnt an isolated story. Every town and city in the country has a family like this. The police cant do anything because the moment they do they are deemed fascist or sued. Lets not forget that in most cases there was only a series of little incidents. Name calling, loitering in the street, shouting and swearing. Not nice things i agree but the law cant deal effectively with such minor offences. Plus more often than not when the police try to gather evidence for evicitons / ASBOS's the neighbours bury their head in the sand and dont want to get involved. The police cant do anything without witnesses and evidence. People are too scared to get involved.

I say fight violence with incineration. It cuts down on fossil fuels use, keeps prisons empty and juices the national grid. Everyone is a winner.
