Maybe send out a few tweets about how the deletion of Facebook is going.

Karl - please can you action this and keep us updated on the progress of deleting Facebook.

Kind regards,

The forum.

The only downside is the Facebook thread here amuses me. If it’s a choice between that and Vermilion’s “engrish” pics, I vote Facebook stays.

Any social media, I'd pick Snapchat for being so useless or Grindr for unwanted dick pics

From the list above, Twitter. Screaming babies on it

I know Facebooks the big evil and owns this now.

But Instagram. It’s changed a generation of kidsand adults. When it first was out the early years were great just see cool photos from friends, photographers.

The whole influencer thing killed it. At that moment all it became was a trove of half naked girls trying to sell gooseberry fool. Or fake trader accounts who’ve made a fortune on the stock market.

The amount of fake posts, retouching and stuff make it such a fake environment that’s mentally bad. Comparing yourself to unrealistic lifestyles too. I’ve seen people struggle with balancing a Instagram world with the real world, thinking having a few thousand followers makes them infamous..

My old man rant over.

It's still there. You've prompted me to search for my profile, reset my password, and look at some extremely old school photos!

Facebook just for the fact that they were the ones that started the whole you must use your real name on the internet bullshit. I remember getting a message once asking me to confirm if a friend was using his real name, like strawberry float am I going to go around rating out my friends. Let's face it, things were a lot better when everyone was using user names, for a start how do you cyberbully someone named xXX_BoobLover_XXx?

Tiktok Is by far the cringiest most useless social media site, but I'd have to say Twitter.

Twitter just promotes extreme narcissism, it encourages you to post about every little thing. Not only that but the kind of mob/cancel culture it encourages is also very scary.

Instagram is my favourite because it's layout encourages you to make posts a bit more special/substantial and you don't have people sharing retarded Facebook memes.

I used to hate Twitter for the very reason that (from what I saw here) it seemed to be full of "just got out of bed!" Pointless crap. I recently got in to it however by realising you can thin down exactly what you do or don't want to see. Mine is mainly sports I'm interested in, along with a few people from here and some comedians I like. Best part for me is that you can interact with these people directly as most seem to engage with you.

Any people that post about their breakfasts or how great their life is in a self indulgent way get blocked.

Facebook causes me the most issues at work with people harassing and bickering on it but twitter annoys me the most, it’s changed tv shows, news media and the spread of false information.

Whenever I read I news story who’s source is Janet on Twitter I just want to hit my head against the wall. The amount of articles that start with ‘tv show causes outrage amongst viewers’ then you read on to find that it was a couple of people on twitter complaining.

Yeah, one of its big issues is that Twitter amplifies the minority

Same goes for Instagram though (Which I use on private). With the bonus being you can instantly look at someone's page and see how narcissistic they are (like when every single picture on their page is a selfie).

I just find it much easier to sort through things on there and not miss people's posts. It's also great for showcasing art which I like.

Also you get this kind of thing

(Can't be embedded in the forum right?)
Winckle edit: It can now, I just added a bbcode instagram embedding
