Lynch Seer = Godfather can't kill, Wolf kills Godfather, Wolf wins
Lynch Wolf = Godfather can't kill, Next day lynch tie, Godfather tries to kill Seer, but Moggy's trap kills Godfather? Or Godfather kills next day

From what Drummy had said, it sounds as if Wolves win when they equal the remaining players whereas godfather has to be the last man standing so yeah, that's presumably the last villagers only hope.

That seems quite harsh for the Godfather and Count roles though, as not only do they need to last until the final two, but they would need to also line it up with their particular night of killing.

Rooting for Moggy either way.

Either he did good work as a seer to stay alive this long by some great in thread distancing from Parksey or he's a wolf who has played an absolute blinder.

Were you and Parksey not in contact with the seer? Only skimmed through the death thread but thought you'd said that earlier in your rant about FatDaz

If a lone killing role were to make the final two, they would automatically turn on the remaining player, much like how wolves win when the number of wolves equals the number of non-wolves.

Frank: you're correct but also incorrect. All will be clear tomorrow.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Is it possible that the wolf is a lone wolf? I think that's what it was called in a game before. I think it worked with the wolves but was really on its own, so would win when other wolves and people were dead?

Urgh I was deeply suspicious of Frank in the early game so I pushed for the Trust Alliance to Seer him. I remember saying:

I'm probably just confirming by own biases here but whenever I see (TAP or) Frank posting I'm just suspicious as Hell now.

We'll ignore the part about TAP to make me look more insightful. I mentioned TAP and Frank quite a lot in the early days.

He was Seered and came back Human quite early on. Think it might have been as early as Day 3, though we delayed it a day to check Kanbei He came back as human so we parked that suspicion to try and out a wolf.

We eventually Seered Devlin too and I put them in contact without really revealing anything beyond their Seering.

However there's always been a nagging doubt, increasing since I died, that actually one of those two Seered Humans was actually the Alpha. I still suspected Frank, his grateful PM of "wow, thanks, I never get Seered in this game" made me think he was a little too happy at what had happened...

Also, we guessed Kezzer was probably The Hunter for a while since he kept talking about a crossbow in private PMs with Moggy. Daz's role reveal meant Kezzer was probably telling the truth so we left him be (despite him getting a lot of negative attention in the thread). He definitely isn't a Mason as I attempted to shake his hand the day he proclaimed he was one. We don't know if he's a good or bad role for certain though.

Sawyerpip I originally removed from suspicion as he voted for Jezo and I thought his posts when I was coming out as a Mason/Doppleganger were quite logical and sensible (though so were Cora's). He was never on our radar at all, so I was shocked when it was revealed he was a wolf. And now I'm shocked he is a human again after all.

And yeah, we were all in contact with the Seer, so when Kezzer came out I knew there'd be a switcheroo.

I imagine IF Moggy does have that weapon. He could still win.

If Kezzer joins him on killing Satriales, then Satriales snuffs it. Kezzer attacks him as a wolf, and that weapons COULD kill Kezzer. It's the only way I think it actually works. Or maybe it is like he says, a competition on which bad guy gets to see him off.

I don’t understand though - the number of wolves equalled the number of non-wolves yesterday - Frank and X vs. X and X. Therefore the wolves should have won at that point, if their win condition was to outnumber or equal the remaining players. So either the remaining wolf has a different win condition to the rest of us, or I’m just very confused and hungover. :fp:

I'd have still said that if I were human because usually no-one pays any attention to me in these games :slol: Would've been nice to be part of TRUST TEAM.

Something unexpected has occured. There is one wolf left according to Drum's count but also, there can't be one left because a) there are 3 specials left from FatDaz's role list, and b) when we reached 17 remaining players, Drum told us there were 11 good guys left, and counting from there tells me there are two good guys left out of the remaining three players.

I can't work out what could possibly have happened, I'm sure there is a simple explanation but I'm stumped!

It's difficult because I want the audience to have some understanding what is going on without completely giving the game away.

What if there was a wolf that secretly didn't have the same win condition as the rest of The Pack?

I'm not going to lie, it's quite satisfying seeing Moggy be confused in the thread after he was so sure I was a wolf yesterday. Now he knows how I was feeling

I've got to apologise to Parksey for suspecting him as a wolf for most of the game - but it looks like I'll need to do the same to Moggy, based on the way things have panned out I can't see him not being legitimate as the Oracle at this point.

Considering how visible he's been in the thread and how involved in so many of the plot points of this game, plus the sheer volume of behind the scenes discussion that must have taken place, he's done really well to last right until the end as an active seer and I hope he wins it from here.

I don't get how Moggy is able to win - is he not just kingmaker in today's lynch, but will lose to whoever isn't lynched?

Yeah definitely, presumably the weapon story put all the bad roles off trying to kill him? I imagine at least one of the factions would have gone for him at some point if it wasn't for that.

Yeah that's the way I see it. Although I'm still not sure on how this wolf/hunter thing will play out so there's still a chance there's a twist I guess.

Have we been thinking about the Godfather in the wrong way the whole time? What if that's a wolf role, and the name is a red herring, meant to throw us off?
