Shall we have a game for us dead folk?

Fantasy Werewolf (FWW) 2020

Anyone who's dead can take part in the inaugural FWW league.

It's easy. Each day, post your predictions in the thread. Once posted they can't be amended - if I see that your post has been edited, your entry will be disqualified for that day.

Each day you can guess:
2 players you think will be killed by the wolves that night
2 players you think are wolves

Each correct guess scores you one point.

Obviously, the players you think will be killed only counts for that particular day, so we'll know pretty quickly if you're right or not.
For the players you think are wolves, the points are only awarded once we know a player's status. So for example, if you were sure Denster was a wolf, you could name him as a pick today, and tomorrow, and the day after. Then, if at that point he was lynched and revealed as a wolf, you would win three points - one for each time you selected him. Make sense?

At the end of the game there will be two awards:
The League Champion will be the player with the highest overall points score.
The Cup Winner will be the player with the highest average score for guessing nightly wolf kills (so anyone can play as often or as little as they like, and still be eligible for this prize)

Sadly, any dead wolves will be ineligible for FWW, due to their insider knowledge.

I can't even keep track of all the role claims that are happening today

Following the trend of "active established players" I'd expect wolf kills on sawyerpip, kezzer and Nun - the longer they stay in with how they're posting, the more I'll suspect they're either wolves, or so wrong in their suspicions that the wolves are happy to have them direct the game.

I'm still thinking Jezo is a wolf, and why not Ob Bob too.

Unrelatedly, Parksey being against splitting out the lynch vote and then saying this:

I ran on the basis that the lynch candidates were secondary to the circle behind me.

Also unfortunately got to agree with Moggy when he said:

I know Drummy wanted as many players as possible but this is the danger when you badger people into playing who are not going to be active players.

The risk of pushing people to sign up is that it's much easier to sign up than it is to play - and I think the game is suffering a little for it

Call and Answer's plan is a bit overcomplicated isn't it? He doesn't need to be one of the lynch candidates to prove he can rig the vote - it could be any two candidates and work just the same. He should go for mayor to guarantee his survival. Parksey was also right in saying he should have come forward yesterday to actually make use of the lynch votes being made known to the mayor (though I don't trust Parksey at all!)

The town need a trusted role as a mouthpiece for the investigators, as it would be very useful to verify how exactly their powers work - whether they reveal role or alignment. The Seer/Oracle/Psychic mistake makes me think I might be right in their being two investigator roles, one who can test alignment only and one who gets told whether someone is a special role or not, but without alignment.

Yeah Call and Answer would have been better to have tried this plan yesterday.

I think this relates somewhat to the point above about activity - he hasn't really been involved in the game (only a handful of posts across the first 3 days) and so may not have realised that yesterday was the better day to try this move?

I'm still playing catch up on the thread, don't like how Kezzer keeps putting me down in the "Baddies" list even though it was confirmed by Drumstick that my role was essentially a human and my win conditions were aligned with the humans!

Oh geez, this is really starting to get difficult to keep up with. From skimming it though, to me, out of the big talkers, Parksey and Moggy seem trustworthy for sure based on their general reasoning and analysis. So at the very least I think we should keep them around just to keep doing the thinking for us lol

Yeah that might not have been a smart post from Jezo - they could all be innocent I guess but it's a plausible read of the situation that they're on the wolf team and Jezo has been a bit too brazen there.

I've had my suspicions on Moggy for most of the game, feels like he jumped on the grave robbing to get some protection and then once the idea of people finding protective gear started to do the rounds he joined in claiming he had something that would stop attacks against him - an attempt to seem both more useful to the humans to keep around and legitimise why he hasn't been night killed as the wolves wouldn't want to go after him.

Why didn't FatDaz just info dump is with all the roles in play on day 1? That would have made things so much easier.

Jezo, Moggy and Parksey all now block voting for the C&A/Hyperion lynch, avoiding either Parksey/Jezo or C&A/Parksey.

Pancake walking the mayor vote makes it very easy for wolves to hide in amongst the numbers.

Jezo, Pancake, Moggy, Parksey are my current to tier suspects from those posting
Falsey, Tsunade, Sawyerpip and Saterials on the radar.

Or the wovles are just all being quiet and letting the mess unfold

There's a lot of quiet players who are just keeping ahead of the inactive god cull, there has to be at least one or two wolves in that group. Then I think we've got a couple of vocal wolves who are just making sure the thread is a strawberry floating mess

EDIT: Curls, DayumChris, Hypes, JChalmers, Joer, Kanbei, Mini E, PPM, Rightey, TAP, Tomous, mic, satriales... so many players barely scraping single digit posts across each day so far.

Has anyone in the thread considered the possibility that Call and Answer might be a Jester / Joker, and is playing a blinder?

Jester is a bad role and I don't think Drum would include it

Nope.

It's a possibility, anything seems like a possibility still at this stage!

Does FatDaz's unverified list of roles include anything that might be a Jester though?
