You put on a DVD for the first time

I always check the bonus features first even though I know I'll never watch them. And then the settings for no good reason.

I tend to look at the extras menu first (just to see what's there) but I never watch them until I've finished the actual film.

It'd be a slightly better question if it was for video games. Because I do always go to the options first with games, and usually never change anything. Apart from sometimes subtitles.

Settings to enable DTS sound of course.

Always settings. Same for games. I like to make sure everything is how I want it to be before I start

Would barely make a difference, unless you meant extras when they're on a separate disk which I doubt.

What settings do you need to check for DVDs? Games I understand-difficulty, controls etc but films?

Play. I'll have already read what the extras are from the back of the box/website I've bought it from. I'll get round to them after I've actually watched the film.

If i was to buy a DVD i would go to play.... but normally I would put it in my laptop and rip it for the media centre.....
