The only time I've ever had food poisoning in my entire life (touch wood) is from the ice cream I had at a Warner Brothers (R.I.P.) once. Sick as a dog a few hours later, I was.

Worst

The Horse Whisperer - Regal Centre, Worksop

I can’t really remember the film just that it went on forever and was incredibly boring, I even fell asleep half way through and a girl tried kissing me

0/10

:dread: It wasn’t a great experience for me, but at least she didn’t go on to write letters to my parents stating that there was something wrong with me like another girl from school did, I only found this out a few years ago, I guess it was my fault for being irresponsible 8-)

Best

The Force Awakens: day one showing. I have never seen a cinema go as quiet as when "A long time ago..." came up on screen, and then the cheers when the music started - so good

Iron Man: I was already buzzing at having seen one of the best superhero films to date, and then that end credits scene...

Batman V Superman: the kid who lost his gooseberry fool when Superman died was the highlight of the entire film

Skyfall: the Liverpool Philharmonic has a projection screen hidden underneath the stage, so they occasionally show films but with a real orchestra doing some of the music. They play a really jaunty theme tune as the screen rises up and everyone claps along  It was a really cool afternoon

Alien Marathon: this could go in worst but I had so much fun! Was billed as all original reels, apparently Alien and Aliens had been loaned in at great effort and they were very proud. Prometheus: passed without a hitch. Alien: sound gave out just as she's running around doing the self destruct sequence. Everyone happy, meowing when the cat's on screen, someone does the Eastenders drums when the ship blows up. Excellent. Aliens: she's at the docking bay - DAMN YOU BISHOP etc. He swings around the corner in the ship and the film snaps. People less happy now to be fair! Alien 3: all going well until the very climax. Arms out, falling, falling, aaand the projector breaks down. Apparently we watched the Bluray of Resurrection :slol:

Worst

The Day After Tomorrow: my mate was drunk and talking and we nearly got thrown out. MORTIFIED.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus: spilt wine on my girlfriend during the trailers, had a row that was interrupted by the film so we couldn't actually deal with the issue. Just a horrible experience.

Amazing Spider-Man 2: my fiancee (same woman!) was fiddling with her engagement ring, DROPPED IT at the end of the trailers, and we had to wait until the end of the film to find it.

This definitely needs some elaboration.

I had a photo finish coming back from Transformers 2 at the Winnersh Triangle multiplex with my brother in law. Spent the next day laid up. Nobody else got sick from anywhere I ate that night so I must have got my popcorn from the skanky member of staff who didn't wash their hands :dread:

There isn’t much to tell, I would have been 14 and I became friends with a girl called Rebecca, it started out we would all meet as a group of friends and go bowling etc but then I started going around to her house and we would talk, listen to music etc, her mum and grandmother really liked me and would always make a fuss to make me feel welcome, from my point of view it was a friendship like I had with numerous other people at school, then one time we were looking through a magazine on her bed and she tried getting on top of me, I shocked and embarrassed and it was awkward, I probably made the situation worse because I just got up and got my bike and cycled home, after that I didn’t go around to her house and didn’t really have much to do with her until we did our work experience and she would bring me some lunch because we both were in workplaces in the town centre and everything seemed fine again,

I found out a few years ago that shortly after that time in her bedroom she sent my mum five separate letters telling her that I wasn’t normal and something must be wrong with me to lead her on like that, one letter was even from her mum! my mum ignored them and didn’t tell me anything about them,

All through school I had other issues with girls but at no stage have I ever lead anyone on, all my male friends had girlfriends and all had kissed girls etc, I never did surely they could have guessed and took the hint

Was she so hammered that she tried to kiss you and missed?

Best and worst was getting a blowy in a practically empty cinema when this old couple came and sat two seats away. It’s not like I was going to tell the woman to stop but it was very obvious.

For the record, This was a long time ago

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)
