I believe I have the best Sandwich

All presented Sandwiches will be entered into a competition where all participants will then be asked to place in order of preference.

We will then identify the Offical GRCADE Sandwich. Entries in by Midnight Friday. One entry per person.

Entries So Far:
Albear - French Stick, Chicken Breast (Breaded Chicken also excellent) Bacon (smoked, Streaky) Avocado (mashed)Brie (Grilled). Onion, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo/Dijon mustard

Outrunner - Spaghetti Hotdog

Denster - Reuben sandwich - Pastrami, good cheese, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing on rye or a good bread of your choice. Delicious hot or sensational when allowed to go cold.

Moggy - Roll, Mash Potato, Gravy, Feces

Zilnad - Falafel, cheese, vam (veggie ham) and jalapeno hummus.

Godzilla - brioche roll, smoked bacon and quality sausage, butter

Rinks - Chip Butty

Vermilion - triple fried egg butty with chilli sauce and chutney.

Qikz - Bacon, Cheese, Brownsauce

Ironhide - Roast Chicken and mango Chutney

Bunni - Soft baguette, parma ham, rocket, pesto, roast chicken and parmesan cheese

mcjihge - Bread (top): (brown, wholemeal, granary). Filling: Toast (white, buttered both sides (Clover, full fat, Bread (bottom): (brown,wholemeal, granary)

Roonmaster - Meatball Mariana on Italian Herbs and Cheese

Kezzer - The Mandrill: Roast chicken with Monterey Jack, Gruyere on spelt bread, covered in avocado, and aioli.

Ironhide's brother - Roast chicken, gammon, roast potatoes, roast parsnips/carrots, stuffing and gravy.

Abacus - Soft white sliced buttered bread, Roast chicken, gammon, roast parsnips, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a bit of cheese and bacon.

Carlos - Get a decent sirloin steak from the butchers and submerge it in a shallow bath of Henderson’s Relish for 6 hours. Any longer and the acidic marinade will make the steak mushy. Do NOT make the mistake of using Worcester Sauce. Yuck.
- Get some decent sized Breadcakes from the local baker or if you must a good farmhouse loaf.
- In a little olive oil fry up some chopped and skinned shallots for a couple of minutes. Move to the side of the pan when done.
- Baste both sides of your steak with olive oil and some seasoning and pan-fry it on both sides for about 1 minute each although this can be increased if you like it tougher. Turn off the heat and leave for a minute on both sides to soak up the shallot oil.
- Slice your breadcake or loaf and put some Derby Cheese on both open sides. Microwave for 20 seconds or so to melt the cheese. Derby Cheese is like Cheddar but much softer so it gets nice and gooey very easily.
- Dry off your steak in some kitchen roll and then layer up on your Breadcake with the fried shallots.

I don't do cold sandwiches so bacon is the king for me.

Egg and Chilli I've heard before and always fancied it, but I love me some meat in my Sandwich. (bait)

I would no doubt overcomplicate it with Bacon/Sausage and cheese

Tiger bread with a nice layer of mayonnaise on each slice. Filling, freshly cooked and crisp streaky bacon, freshly chicken breast seasoned with salt/pepper with a few dried mixed herbs on when cooking, sliced as thin as you can (obviously plenty of chicken in the sandwich though) with a little lettuce to finish off. Sometimes add some thinly sliced mature cheddar but equally sometimes don’t.

Don’t have this too often as when I get back from work I sometimes can’t be bothered cooking up a sandwich so just have a cold one with stuff straight from the fridge.

If I'm feeling a bit more adventurous I'd go for the green tea variant

Actually have left over hot dog buns. Might whip one of these up for lunch tomorrow.

The greasy guilty pleasure sandwich - Egg bacon and cheese. Gotta be melted cheese, and a runny egg.

The actual nice sandwich - soft baguette, parma ham, rocket, pesto, roast chicken and parmesan cheese.
