Does anyone want to buy a copy of Fallout 76 BTW?

But now I'm intrigued...

It's not that interesting really.

I'm being bought a Pro, which is very nice and I am very happy about this, however, apparently the other half struggled with the purchase due to the fan making less noise in the newer models etc etc and only certain games being bundled with the new models etc etc.

Cutting a long story short I've got Fallout 76 for Christmas.

No plans actually. I probably get less time than usual to play games over Christmas as it's all seeing family and friends. Not a time for resting or relaxing unfortunately. Fond memories of playing games at Christmas as a kid, but in recent years it just doesn't happen.

:dread:

Reminds you that some people suffer at Christmas time. Well be thinking of you.

Yep, lovely 55 inch Samsung UHD 4K job. Sure Bethesda’s ancient engine will look the mutts.

It’s not even like I can sell it, it’s practically worthless already.

Orange and Jawa are literally the only people I’ve seen say something positive about it.

Still playing God of War, so continuing with that; along with a spot of Pro Evo. Getting Spidey on Christmas day, but prob won't start that til the new year.

Also, my son (5) has just started to venture into gaming (playing DKC and Mario World on the Snes mini); so, decided i'll break out the wii again for Christmas. Got him some wii games as presents: New Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Kart, Madagascar 2, Ice Age 3 and Pokepark 2. Those should last him a while!

Though, there's one shite thing I did notice when testing the games, its what looks like dead pixels. Looked it up; it's artifacts from a well used gpu. :(

Also ended up picking up Starlink on Switch so will be trying that out, too.

I’ll be staying at my mothers for a few days over Christmas so won’t get the chance to play any console games but I’ll likely take my laptop with me and crack on with more Disney games on Master System and Mega Drive via Fusion.

I find that a game sometimes presents itself at Christmas rather than one you intend to play. At the moment loving Hyper Light Drifter on the Switch so will continue with that I think
