I buy a lot of the stuff I do just to keep my PTSD and anxiety in check and to reward myself for doing things I don't want to do, a lot of its a crutch for my PTSD and my Autism and all the other stuff that's wrong with me, then I often later feel guilt about having spent money on myself.

I'm on level 4588 of Toon Blast. Every fifty levels they change the theme, and I think I might be near the end of the themes they've released, at which point I'll reach the "Champions League". I'm not gonna lie, I'm more invested in achieving this goal than I should be :shifty:

OK, let’s make this a meeting of Toon Blast Anonymous. This is just between us.

It’s good fun. People should give it a try. It’s not like some of those other free games that punish you with a brutal grind or excessive waiting, just to bully you into paying to progress. It’s much fairer, and I’ve never felt any need to use its microtransactions.

I got to the Champions League for a while, then let it slip a bit. Currently on 4303.

Toon Blast is one of the many games I had to uninstall because I was playing it too much. It was always “I’ll uninstall at level 1,000... maybe 1,500... maybe 2,000...” and then I finally bit the bullet at 3,000 and got rid!

So this is what it feels like when doves cry!

I would agree that it places no pressure on you to actually buy anything (I haven't). I don't recall actually using any boosts until I was well above level 1000 so I had built up this massive stockpile of boosts, coins and free lives that I've just maintained and used going forward. It's probably the fairest colour matching time sink I've ever played!

I want to achieve CL, then if I drop out I don't know if I'll chase it again. It does feel liberating to delete a mobile game...

I've not seen one before, nobody has, but my best guess is it's a white hole

Quite honestly, you don't want to know!

Do not be tempted to start playing it.

I think that Candy Crush Soda Saga is amazing. I play every day, often to the exclusion of ‘real’ games. Best puzzle game I’ve ever played - much better than Tetris!

Come back when Andrew Lloyd Webber writes a song about Candy Crush

I was going to try and write some kind of Andrew Lloyd Webber X Candy Crush parody lyrics here but then realised I actually know strawberry float all about Candy Crush so it would have been a bit difficult!

I close my eyes
Drew back the curtain
To see for certain
What I thought I knew

Far, far away
Someone was weeping
But the world was sleeping
Candy crush will do

I wore my coat
With golden lining
Bright colors shining
Wonderful and new

And in the east
The dawn was breaking
And the world was waking
Candy crush will do

A crush of drums
A flash of light
My golden coat
Flew out of sight

Colors faded into darkness
I was left alone
May I return
To the beginning
The light is dimming
And the dream is too

The world and I
We are still waiting
Still hesitating

Candy crush will do
Candy crush will
Candy crush will
Candy cruah will do

Give me my colored coat
My amazing colored coat
Give me my colored coat
My amazing colored coat
Candy crush

Yeah this is where I ended up and it felt like just shoving the words Candy Crush into it wasn't good enough!

I really enjoyed "Enter the Matrix", so much so I triple dipped (PS2, Xbox and PC)

I don't know what's wrong with me. I recognise it's very average and a real missed opportunity but there are tiny moments, every now and then, where it clicks, and I am a but kicking, bullet dodging bad ass.

Then I think about what I have done and die a little on the inside.
