I'll be going this year, so my dream E3 would be to work out how to liveblog all three conferences and then do so successfully.

Six days, Friday 11th to Thursday 17th. I'll be at all the major conferences (well, I'm still waiting to hear back from Sony, I'm definitely in for Microsoft and Nintendo, anyway).

My dream E3 would be MS leaving the gaming industry, Sony dominating and Nintendo bringing out a new Cell-Shaded Zelda along with a proper sequel to Super Mario 64.

I just need Perfect Dark 2, that would make my E3.

If I was greedy I'd say Banjo Threeie as well but I really doubt that will ever happen now :(

Right, I'm in at Sony's, and at some point over the next couple of days I'm setting up a liveblogging account. If anyone's at all interested in my first-hand version of events at all three, then I'll give you the link when I get there and everything's in place.

I'd like a nice Natal turn based strategy game where you have a game board and pieces to move in set formations (or single pieces) so you can have board games with others and have AI opponents but still have the feel of a normal board game.
A game like Space Hulk where you are all marines against a CPU opponent would work quite well I think.

You don't need any 3D nonsense you still have a representation of the board on the screen but this just lets you have a full on board game experience and have decent AI for extra players. Take Axis and Allies for example you can play with 2 people but it's a bit crap and the extra AI players can add a bit of spice to a game.
It could also mean people can drop in and out of longer games without ruining it for everyone by leaving sides unmanned or having one person be overloaded.

I honestly think it's one of my best ideas ever even if that isn't saying much  .

You should play Eye of Judgement. One of the best games on PS3

Like that but with multiple board games. I'm sure they could make the game recognise the pieces from all the official board games and the board itself should be standard.

that would be nice.

to be honest though, just something genuinely original and unexpected to be shown would be my 'dream'. something to really make you say "WOW!". and not just a sequel to a popular game with better graphics.

I'm not jealous but I am really interested in your thoughts rudderless.
